Great meal and relaxed atmosphere for post-trekking hours

My wife thinks the beef stew we had here was one of the best dishes we had throughout our entire trip in patagonia. We also had the best empanada of our entire trip at this restaurant. That is pretty impressive - and should warrant a visit for anyone in the area. We went at about 4 pm and it... read more

We had to wait 10 mins before getting a table, as there were no free tables for 2 we were shown to a table for 4 where there were a couple of guys midway through their meals. As it was quite close quarters and they were not like the other more friendly chatty travellers we had met in other place... More

We went here twice during our stay in El Chalten. The beer was fine though nothing special and only a limited choice - pilsner or bock. It was exciting to find some beer on tap for the first time in a while though! The food was lovely. We had locro, a delicious meat, vegetable and potato stew. Also would highly... More

A great little microbrewery and restaurant. I'm not a beer drinker but the beer drinkers of the group thought it was great. Delicious food and friendly staff, the atmosphere just makes you want to stay for hours.

Ate here twice. Locro was very nice, but the trout ravioli slightly disappointing. Beers were good too, though I wasn't too convinced about the draft techniques, rather foamy.

After a long day of hiking, we came here for some good beers and food, and left a little disappointed. Though the place was busy, we felt ignored by the server multiple times. When our orders did arrive, we felt the beer was less than great, kinda like an amateur kit beer gone awry. The food was also only so-so,... More

Cozy place, one of the nicest places in El Chalten to relax inside in the warmth after a long hike in the snow with beer or wine. I enjoyed the Malbec from Mendoza and my partner enjoyed the litre beers and some of their brewed beer. Popcorn, bread and soup as snacks. Gluten free/Celiac food available and the pizza was... This is a very nice and busy restaurant in El Chalten with reasonable prices, but food selection is rather limited. If you do not like pasta, you are out of luck. But they have homemade beer and the atmosphere is great so no complaints.

This is a truly lovely place. The perfect place for local artisanal beer after a long trek. The staff are friendly and attentive and the snacks are scrummy. If you want to come in the evening though come early as it gets very packed

One of the nicest pleasures in El Chaltén, is to sit on the garden tables of la Cerveceria to have a beer on your way back form the trails. Very nice for dinner too, but in thet case you have got to get there real early to grab a table.
