Nice spot by the river

Lunch today at this lovely spot on their terrace overlooking the river. Served fresh baguette almost immediately after being seated. Appetizers were fantastic especially the gazpacho! Of the mains, my linguini was disappointing, floating in a cream sauce with sparse amounts of the ingredients... read more

Delicious food, great service, beautiful atmosphere. If its nice out, sit outdoors. Friendly vibe but the best part was the excellent food.

The patio was a wonderful place to have a delicious french meal. Overlooking the river with shade trees overhead it couldn't have been more lovely. To keep away the evening bugs they light a wood fire, which makes the atmosphere even cosier. The food was delightful and reasonably priced for the quality. The staff was very friendly and bilingual.

Lunch today at this lovely spot on their terrace overlooking the river. Served fresh baguette almost immediately after being seated. Appetizers were fantastic especially the gazpacho! Of the mains, my linguini was disappointing, floating in a cream sauce with sparse amounts of the ingredients claimed in the description. My partner’s mixed grill was what you would expect. Chose this place for lunch after finding it on Trip Advisor. We had a lovely table sitting on the patio overlooking the river. We had a delicious gazpacho and a perfect sized lunch steak and house made fries. Our son had mussels and loved them. The service was excellent. We would definitely return.

Beautiful location right on the water with tables shaded by leafy trees. Lunch was very good with all 4 of us enjoying our meals. Particular hits were the gazpacho and salmon tartare. Prices very reasonable. Under 20 cad for 2 courses and coffee.

This is a high end restaurant that was recommended to us by our hotel. We had a lovely table on the terrace by the river. We ordered the table d'hote with appetizers, main course and dessert. We ordered a bottle of wine which was simply delicious, but after waiting for more than half an hour, we suspected something was wrong.... More

Great food, charming bilingual service and absolutely delicious food. Great local cuisine recherchée - local cuisine with a sophisticated touch. Not cheap, but worth every penny!

We had a great dinner here. Excellent wine list and all local Charlevoix products. The cote du porch (pork chop) although sounding mundane was extraordinary. The scallops were equally great. Wait staff nice and efficient.

My friend and I went there by accident. I was attracted mainly by the name of the restaurant. The minute I stepped inside this restaurant, I simply loved the simplicity and the charm of this place. Since it was raining, we set inside but I am sure they have a very nice terrace. The menu was somehow concise (most probably... More

We happened upon the Mouton Noir by acccident - but it turned out to be a very happy accident! Needing a quick spot of lunch and with it being after 2pm already we dived into the Mouton Noir after just a sketchy look at the outside menu - and struck lucky. A nice terrace table looking on to the river,... More
