All food was delicious and I really enjoyed it. Had the pork specialty and a nice salad with scallops. I chose beer over wine and thought it paired well with the pork, which is a hearty dish. My wife had the fish special and said it was also very good.

I went to the “mouton noir” with my wife on a Monday. We sat on the table in the corner near the window. The curtain on the window was dusty and smelly. They lack of employees. The service was terrible even though the waitress was nice. But she couldn’t handle too many tables at the same time (1 waiter serving... More

Been going there every June for 4 years now. Excellent table, good service. People make you very comfy. Most of the produce are from the area (terroir) and the food is treated with respect. The wine list is a little short to my likings, but it's a honest list. Very decent plates, you will not feel hungry when you walk... More

The restaurant came with so much fanfare and promise. In reading other reviews people said there was too much food. Well, the restaurant owner must have read those because they had to have cut back for our portions. The food was good, not great. It needed more spices for a bit more flavor. However, the food was better than the... More

I had the classic "Cocotte" and was a bit disappointed. First, it was grossly over-sized... it really would feed a small family. It needed some spicing up... My wife's steak was very good. We loved the atmosphere and the story of the place but I wouldn't put it at the top of a gastronomic scale.

Had a great dinner here during march break with my wife and 2 kids. The tartare was excellent as was all the appetizers. I was a little disappointed with my coquette. They claim it has won awards, but it did not live up to expectations. Don't get me wrong…it was good…but just not as spectacular as the build up and... More

Excellent service well prepared regional dishes, try the Cocotte d'Épaule de Porc Biologique de Damien, a "pot pie" pour les anglais. I was able to finish mine but I did see a couple of ladies sharing one. My partner had duck breast that was very good. For dessert we had the Tarte Tatin done in a novel way. It was... More

The ambience was nice - not too busy for middle of the week, service was really good.It was a little warm by the window since the heater is right there but that is minor.

Very nice and cozy place with great service a nice menu and the food was excellent. The server was very polite and knowledgeable about the food as one of our party has a wheat allergy. Definitely going back. And....make a reservation the place fills up fast.
