Conveniently on the way back from Tadoussac, we stopped for dinner on a lovely evening, but without previous TA research. NOT a good idea. The outdoor patio was nice, but the traffic was less pleasant (our fault for choosing outside). The food was passable. But it took forever for the order to be taken and as long again for the... More

We spent three days in Baie-St-Paul and tried many of this town restaurant (see my other reviews) This was the best restaurant. I had a Migneron (a local cheese) fondant as an appetizer. It was a very good dish, but a bit too sugary for my taste (there was possibly too much balsamic reduction on my plate). Then, I had... More

Had eaten previously at this restaurant and was quite impressed with the food and surrounding...so a return visit. Again the food was superb and service professional.

We only had a glass of wine and a bear because the menu did not have anything a vegetarian of a vegan would enjoy.

The local micro brew was $10 a pint ($2 more than down the road). I had a penne with mushrooms, a mystery meat (I just forget what I ordered), local cheese. The paste was firm and the dish tasted fine. My wife had a salad with sausage. She liked it. The room had a nice atmosphere. The service was very... More

Lovely afternoon meal. Traditional fare on the patio complemented with a pint from the local micro-brasserie (brewery). Portions are generous and the food imbues a spirit of fusion that one would not expect. The local picnic plate featured lovely local charcuterie and fromage. Worth the trip.

It was the nicest resto in Baie St-Paul. The staff was friendly, very nice (although we are not French-Canadians, the waitress talked to us, asked us were we came from etc. etc. compared to other places were they hardly say hello to you ). The food is really good, prices are the same as in all the other places, but... More

Had lunch there. Average lunch fare - burger was pan fried instead of grilled. Facing the street so it was loud as many motorcycles and cars were passing by that day. Server was attentive and helpful.

Great service, very reasonably priced and the menu offers large choice of tasty options. They also have a wonderful terrace that will allow for nice meals on the hot summer days. It is right across the Baie St Paul church.

Contrary to the last review, we found this restaurant to be very good. First, we were nicely welcomed by the waitress. It was early in the evening, so there were not many patrons yet and since it was on a week night in March, we did not expect the place to be packed. We were served a nice loaf of... More
