We met up with family for a mid-week lunch on a sunny day so sat in the lovely little garden overlooking the old bridge and River Usk. The food was all fresh and delicious, I enjoyed the beer battered fish while also looking enviously at the Steak & Ale pie which was packed with meat and lovely rich gravy! Everyone... More

My partner Jayne and I called at the Bridge End Inn and enjoyed a good quality meal in the restaurant. The food was piping hot and the portions were certainly adequate. Jayne did not want a main course and settled for soup of the day (Leek and Potato) and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Steak and Ale Pie which... More

Visited the Bridge End Inn for the second time for a family meal and it has had a bit of facelift with new comfortable chairs. We booked for 1pm, ordered by 1.15. It took 45 minutes for our starters to be served and another hour for our main courses. The portion sizes of main courses was inconsistent, some small, some... More

Two sandwiches ordered at 12:40. Two sandwiches arrived at 14:20. One hour and forty minutes ..... for sandwiches. Yes, it was a warm Easter Bank Holiday Monday in a National Park. I get that. However, there was no management of our expectations, no apology, no smile between 6 members of staff, and no communication with us about the delay. It... More

Having visited this pub on and off over the years it was good to see it has had a makeover although I'd recommend replacing the old fashioned ornaments with some candles! Sunday lunch was good we both had beef which was really tasty, could have had slightly more vegetables than served but overall there was enough food. Service was really... More

Stopped at the Bridge End Inn on a Monday lunch time. Traditional pub offering traditional pub fare. Service was very friendly and professional. We went for the bbq chicken and cod and chips. Both presented very nicely, tasty and hot - really pleasantly surprised! Lovely modern, clean decor in the restaurant area and traditional bar area.
