Called into Number 18 with my sister was very surprised how big it is inside. Beautiful Coffee and fantastic poached egg. Sat downstairs and watched the chefs cook our food very professional and very clean kitchen. All the staff are friendly and the cafe is very clean.

Really good place for breakfast. The vegetarian option included delicious Glamorgan sausages with a really good meaty option on offer as well. Although only visited for breakfast, the cakes on display looked amazing .

I would not normally review when all I had was coffee and toasted teacake but both were outstanding. This was a comfortable and friendly venue which I will certainly visit again. Very reasonable prices too.

Excellent choice of cakes and more impressively lots of gluten free options, which was music to my ears as normally its quite difficult for lack of options in coffee shops. Good clean shop with friendly staff and lovely coffee.

Good choice of cakes (hard to resist) and selections of teas and coffees. RIght in the centre of town.

Not sure if this was an 'off day' but Saturday 1st November 2014, was certainly not their finest hour! This was 'lunch time' 13.00 and the cafe was full. Everyone had drinks but no one had food. We noticed we had waited some time, when the gentleman behind us got up to complain he had waited an hour for their... More

Taking my mum back to Crickhowel where she grew up, for her 80th, we just had to have a coffee at Number 18. When mum was a child her house was in Silver lane and she thinks (her memory is 80!!) Number 18 was built on there. Great coffee and cake by the way and service excellent

Stopped here quite by chance en route from Brecon to Abergavenny. The coffee is great, the venue is spotless and the service is smiling, pleasant, professional and swift. Definitely worth a visit.

Im writing this in the hope that someone with Ceoliac who is visiting Crickhowell knows that this Cafe exists and you will have somewhere to eat. It was so great that my mum could eat out for lunch which isn't usually possible due to the impossible task of finding places that sell gluten free bread to at least have a... More
