My favourite cafe. Full stop!

Whenever we visit our friends in Cardigan, we make a beeline for this café. They have such wonderful choices of "specials" its hard to choose. Food is great. One downside though is that staff are not all that friendly.

We didn't need to book. When we went, the restaurant didn't have a license to sell alcohol but you can take your own & there is an off licence nearby. The service & the food was excellent. On Friday nights, they serve food from around the world. It was Mexican food when we went. On Saturdays they close at 5pm... More

Liked the look of this restaurant, very clean and inviting from the outside, once inside we were not disappointed. We had the last table, that alone tells you a lot which we were allowed to sit at until it had been cleaned and the floor swept ! The service was fantastic, the food was even better and the prices were... More

If you visit Cardigan, this place is a MUST. Daily specials board, plus great menu, Tea Pigs tea, great coffee and cake selection superb. Often worth booking as can get busy but that's because it is so good. Mexican night running each Friday during the season too. Called in for lunch last Saturday and the lamb tagine was superb. Never... More

Popped in by chance of first day of school holidays and the cafe was straining from volume of customers. Our food came staggered, so not great service-wise, but the quality was very high. In fact the cockles and laverbread knocked me out. Fantastic! Heartily recommend to anyone who enjoys seafood.

Very busy café so very popular. Visited for coffee and toast. Service was average and staff not particularly friendly. Toast came well before our drinks which was disappointing. I have read good reviews about this place in local magazines and although the food was okay on previous occasions that we have visited the service lets it down a little. They... More

Have had many a great breakfast and lunch in this cafe. Each time it's fab. It's getting really busy at lunch times now as it summertime which can be disappointing espically when working and don't have a long lunch break. Great place to have just a coffee or tea , full English breakfast or a light lunch.

We were in Cardigan looking for a light bite and a cup of something hot. All agreed that the cakes (home made I think) were really worth coming here for and the drinks were well received by all
