This place looks the part inside but unfortunately that's where it ends. We ordered simple coffee, tea, scone and coconut slice. Every single item came out separately. Why couldn't everything come out together? The scone we was told came from downstairs so takes longer to arrive. When it did come it was dry and crumbly!!! Would not go again

Visited Food for Thought for lunch on Monday – this was our second visit to this little café and coffee lounge, again a nice experience. Having a vegetarian partner who more often than not makes do with a sub-standard meal of “some description” due to cooks and chef’s not understanding how flavours impact on the enjoyment of a meal or... The food wasn't great, my jacket potato was very undercooked and very hard. The waiter was great and sorted out an alternative but I wouldn't go there again.

We popped in for a cup of coffee having wandered up and down the high street in cardigan. There is a good choice of seating and papers were provided. The staff were helpful and friendly. Cakes were clearly displayed and looked appetising. The coffee was good and reasonably priced. A nice little touch was the milk served in a bottle... More

A good place at the top end of the High Street in Cardigan. Varied and interesting lunch menu and really good cakes in the afternoon. Laid-back atmosphere and friendly, young staff.

Cafe has a lovely atmosphere and seems very popular with visitors and locals alike. Menu is extensive and interesting: fed veggie adult, self confessed carnivore adult and 2 children with no fuss. Pleasantly surprised at the number of veggie options available - falafel burger was yummy and very filling. Service was prompt and friendly and food portions were very generous.... More

Sweet potato fries were excellent. very busy café with friendly helpful staff. One member of staff took the time to explain whaat Cawl was (meat and vegetables in a thin tasty broth).

I love it here coffee is lovely, cakes are great and so is the food, the staff are really helpful and run of there feet as it is so busy My one criticism either make it counter or table service but not both I either end up queuing at the counter for ever or waiting at the table for ever... More

We came into Aberteifi the next day to eat here after spotting this place the evening before. With our vegetarian and food allergies our choice can be limited. Excellent choices for children also and the cakes were GORGEOUS!!! Service was excellent , very friendly staff in a very busy cafe. If I have to cricitise it would be that there... More
