Very average and overpriced

Not much more to add; this may have been fabulous when it won awards many years ago, now mediocre apart from prices, which are stratospheric for what you get.

Visited whilst driving the west coast route from Thurso to Inverness. Very clean establishment, good quality fish and chips and very courteous and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Superb fish & chips. Quality produce, good cooking, reasonable value, good portion size. Can't ask for much more.

Service was not instant as food is cooked to order. As a result, the fish was simply perfect, with delicate crisp batter. The chips could have been a tiny bit crisper, but that depends how you like them. Full marks, and nice tables outside.

Over the years I have travelled to this part of the Scotland on many occasions and never miss going into the Chippy for the haddock and chips. I've always though the quality and quantity of the fish n' chips is among the best in the UK, and on this most recent occasion, they didn't let me down. On this occasion... More

We ordered two boxes of haddock and chips, took them across the road and sat looking over the jetty. Fish batter was thin, crispy and golden, the chips fantastic.

The over all appearance of this place was good and was very busy with tourists, we had to wait a long time aprox half an hour on our fish and chips, but glad they would be fresh. I was also glad to see they had stand up drainers (less fat) and there was more than plenty to eat. Sadly there... More

We had been driving and headed down through Ullapool, we stopped for a walk round. Very nice harbour. We decided to have fish and chips by the sea(because you have to). The place looked busy, always a good sign. We went in and ordered Haddock and chips. All I can say is FABULOUS. They were cooked fresh, the chips were... More

Good location near the ferry pier. Great coffee and pastries. Didn't try their fish and chips, but they're alleged to be fabulous.
