Having read fab reviews we tried to eat here on the 17th dec to be told we had to go up stairs to next street (Argyll st) to other bar. Shame they never put notice up on menu board outside :-( ended up going else where

My husband and I came into this rustic cozy place on our honeymoon. I am from a Northern Fishing town in New England and I love fresh Seafood. Well this place does it right. Fresh and flavourful. It was nice to see Clam Chowder on the menu. It's actually the first time I have seen clams offered at all on... More

Having wandered along the front in Ullapool deciding where to go for lunch this is where we choose. It was so nice to come off the cold street into such a cosy atmosphere and luckily there was a table free beside a roaring open fire. The lunch menu was very reasonable, I ordered the starter portion of mussels and was... More

Great room with a brass bed and good ensuite. Wonderful views. We just had a great dinner downstairs.

We ate three times at the ferryboat and for a small pub type establishment it was more than adequate and quite busy most of the time. The staff were very nice and obliging ,the fish we had was good and the portion sizes were reasonable all except for the ribeye steak which was more like a minute steak and was... More

The food was delicious, the view was the best. Our first night in Ullapool and we felt at home. It was great to see the dogs in the pub too!

Dropped in for lunch, found relaxed atmosphere, good service & fabulous seafood. Reasonably priced, easy to find on the waterfront, parking outside.

We ate in bar during our 2 night stay, you will not be disappointed with the quality of the food as well as the portion sizes. They are pet friendly, in the bar area, so this was a bonus for us.

This small restaurant serves up the best fresh fish dishes in the area. Table booking is essential, as it does get very busy with it being a small establishment, however it was a Saturday night when we were there and the town was buzzing with the annual music festival revelers. We had the tastiest fish dishes we'd tasted for a... More

Chanced in here late Saturday night during possibly the town's busiest weekend of the year (Loopallu) and managed to nab a table for two in the bar. Despite the server initially giving off the vibe that he didn't want our custom, we stayed (presumably due to the timing). Such a good move! He warmed up after a few minutes and... More
