Ate dinner in the bar on a busy Sunday night. We hadn't made reservations but we're able to get a table by the window in the bar. Good service and the food was delicious. Only (very) slight downside was that my starter was so large I didn't have room for dessert. Good service and would return again.

Very good food and good service, great location, our table at the window looked right up Loch Broom. Lovely atmosphere in small dining room. Excellent evening.

We recently stayed in Ullapool at the Ferry Boat Inn. The setting is ideal and we had a room overlooking Loch Broom. On arrival the staff member was friendly and efficient showing us to our room. The room was small with a tiny bathroom but this was the only downside as the room had only been redecorated and was fresh... More

We ate in the pub, not the restaurant. Met some locals. Had mussels - sooo good and fresh, and the salmon roll, which was great! The woman running the pub here is so sweet, and a skilled multitasker!

Had dinner here, got a nice table beside the window. Yummy seafood, crowded and lively atmosphere. Very enjoyable.

Had this recommended by a fellow traveller so had high expectations. Very disappointed. Very small, crowded, crushed dark dining room very short on staff or so it seemed after waiting almost 45minutes for main course, which when it came was just ok. Had one main of fish pie which was totally over smoked and a main of languestine which was... More

Another delicious meal in The Ferryboat! We ate there 3 times for dinner. Could not fault the food. Service sometimes a bit erratic due to the fact it was very busy. Excellent choice of seafood and well priced.

We finished off our fabulous holiday in Ullapool with a fabulous meal. We dined with friends in the small but oh so friendly dining room and spoilt ourselves rotten. Scallops, langoustines and other freshly caught fish were perfectly cooked and serviced with just the right amount of flavouring to complement and not drawn their sea fresh taste. And then we... Position and interesting people. Good location on Shore Street on the waterfront. Excellent choice of dishes and you can get the catches of day done the way you want out of several choices. thought this was very innovative and excellent. As always some fish not cheap but very good quality
