A real treat

If you are thinking of having a special meal out then certainly take a look at this little Gem. The blend and freshness of the ingredients made my taste buds tingle. From the pea & mint soup with a creme de menthe foam to the delicious Guinnie fowl what a treat.

Went for a pre Valentines Dinner of Friday 13th February. there was a special Valentines menu which included a Champagne cocktail. Everything was superb including the recommendation for a reasonably priced bottle of wine. One of the most delicious bits of beef I have ever had was the star of the show but every course was brilliantly executed. Quite outstanding... More

Went here to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and received a very understated welcome on arrival. As always, the table settings were elegant and immaculate. The food, though very good quality, clearly had time and effort put in but there were inconsistencies and errors. The delicious looking bread was over salted, as were some of the main events and the... More

Booked late for a special dinner date. Having eaten here 3 times previously albeit a few years ago I had high expectations and I was not disappointed. The signature pea soup amusee bouche was still on and was stunning. Don't expect a quick dining experience. It's not but for a meal like this it is a culinary experience. Highlight I... More

Hogmanay dinner. Fabulous food. Impeccable service. Wonderful wine at sensible prices. Nothing more needs said really. A great night out.

The dinner menu was limited to a choice of two starters, one soup between courses, a choice of two mains and a choice of two desserts. Cost: £38 for 3 courses, £43 for 4. A cheese plate is £5 extra. Coffee and petit fours included. By way of an amuse-gueule, we were given a little schooner of tomato consomme with... More

Had delightful lunch with my wife here last Saturday. We were blown away by the quality of the cooking for the price ... £25.50 for 3 courses, inclusive of coffee/tea and petit fours. The experience is like being at the home of some friends who are doing the cooking and waiting for you. My wife enjoyed it so much she... More

We had a lovely family meal to celebrate a very special birthday & were not disappointed. From the moment of arrival to our departure we had a lovely indulgent experience and really enjoyed it. The menu was well chosen and the flavours were exquisite , from the Thai soup to the beef & on the the excellent creme caramel. Attention... More
