Lovely little find

This boots bar was recommended to your hostel. We stayed here for two of the evenings out of our 3 day visit to the Glencoe area. It's apparently world famous!!. Delicious food, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Dog friendly boot bar and family lounge. Would definitely recommend this place if you find yourself in the Glencoe area.

There is both a restaurant and a pub at the Clachaig Inn – we ate at the latter, Boots Bar. Boots Bar has a rough, rustic atmosphere. The room is dimly lit and constructed mainly of rough cut wood and stone. Order and pickup at the bar. The bartender mistakenly wrote down one of our entrees twice. We didn’t notice... More

As a group staying close by we ate, most evenings, at the Clachaig Inn. There was always a good selection of beers on hand. The food was reasonable and the Highland Pie was very good. The vegetables were not particularly inspiring. The surroundings were fairly dated but comfortable. The selection of piped music was rather out of character being, I... More

Really good pub grub in the middle of the mountains near the bottom of the pass of Glencoe. The interior is very rustic, with the walls clad in planks and logs and roaring log fires( weather permitting). The food is a traditional pub fare with a bit of a twist. The burgers are venison, the pie is game pie, the... More
