Good Evening With Family!

We visited this pub one night for some tea and to try the famous ales, whilst staying in the local area! It was quite busy so challenging to get a table but once we were sat down you could appreciate the great atmosphere inside - full of hikers and families with a cosy old fashioned feel to it. The... read more

OK, not really at the end of the road, but we went there from our b&b in Glencoe. We were on a bike tour and it would be our first time riding our bikes unloaded in almost a month so we thought it would be an easy ride (it was) just not as easy as we hoped seeing as how... More

This is a nice looking atmospheric Pub in a great setting in Glencoe Scotland. We were in the boots Bar, a rustic looking bar serving food. I noted that there were a few dogs inside with their owners, this was not a problem as all the owners were well behaved. We ordered an Aberdeen Angus burger with chips, although the Burger... More

Walking around the hills of Glencoe with the kids and dogs we stumbled on this place. A fantastic setting and we also had the weather to sit outside. The kids weren't hungry so they went off to the play area, which is safe and easily viewed from the terrace. My wife and I had Steak and Black pudding pie (from... More

After a long evening of hiking, we decided to stop at the Clachaig Inn's Boots Bar for a few drinks...what a great time! The atmosphere was lively, the beers were numerous and delicious, and the live music was fun. We only had two problems while there - 1st, "last call" was kind of a mess. Some people continued being served,... More

The Clahaig Inn is one of my favourite places to eat as it is right in the midst of the beautiful Glencoe mountains where hill climbers frequent and the food served is excellent . The staff are friendly and children and dogs are also allowed. Highly recommended whilst staying in the area - the journey there is spectacular.

After a walk from Invercoe, the sight of the 'Clachaig Inn' was magnetic and most welcomed. I first sampled the delights of the 'Clachaig Inn' way back in 1967 and the attraction is still there. We sampled their Vennison and Wild Boar Burger and some beautiful homemade soup with baked Brie. We sat outside and ate then followed our meal... More

Good food and great craic when theres music on. Wide selection of beers from Scotland! Has a hunting lodge feel to it which I love. Staff are excellent.

Good food, good ales. Wine list is "wee bottles" of so-so looking wine. Wee bottles are single serving bottles. Ale list shrunk during our two nights eating at the inn--not sure if there was insufficient staff to change the keg or they were literally out of that brew. There are two different pubs--one is darker and seems to be frequented... More

A former favourite of ours has gone down the pan! We made a special trip there to stop for lunch only to be thoroughly disappointed by the food and cleanliness of the bar and toilets. The bar was completely empty, which seemed unusual, and the music was far too loud. We ordered a Brie starter and a burger. When it... More
