Lovely food, shame about the redecoration!

Stopped here for dinner on my way home from Fort William. I have been visiting the Clachaig for over 30 years and I have always enjoyed their food and their excellent choice of real ales. And on this trip the food and drink lived up to its reputatation. However the same cannot be said for its... read more

Okay it was Bank Holiday weekend and the place was heaving! But that didnt detract from what the Clachaig has to offer- Hearty food, great selection of Drinks and a great atmosphere. A really eclectic mix of people from half drowned climbers to overly dressed foreign tourists. Really enjoyed our evening eating and drinking in the Boots Bar talking to... More

We just love the Clachaig! So much, that we bought a cottage in Glencoe, to be near it! The staff are outstanding, food, drink, and atmosphere just great especially at weekends! We never miss a Saturday when we visit and we strongly recommend the open mike session with Ian and Ken on a Sunday, which is just fantastic!

Food was amazing and the portions were manly! Beers were many and interesting as well as very good. Warm cozy atmosphere and good craic.

We eat and drink here every time we are in Glencoe, which is rather often. Unfortunately since our last visit (autumn 2013) they refurbished the eating area and i'm afraid in my opinion the place has last a lot of its charm since. It now feels more like the IKEA restaurant than a walkers' pub. Some of the good stuff... More

My husband, 2 year old daughter and I went for dinner here and all had a lovely meal. All the food was tasty and my daughter's portion was generous.

We stopped off at The Clachaig Inn both on our trip north to Skye and again on the way home. My husband wanted to stop there purely because of the sign at this Inn that says "No Hawkers, No Campbells" (he's a MacDonald!) It was easily reached from the A82 along a single track road and there was ample parking.... More

The Clachaig Inn is definitely my favourite place to have my meals while in Glencoe. Chef Davie is an uncredible guy: the food ios delicious! Taste everything, starting with the haggis! The board of whisky makes you smile! :) Just go there...

I have spent many a post walk/climb in this pub and would have recommended it to friends and family. However, in a recent trip, I had to send food back because it was frozen in the middle, only to be told by staff that the microwave was playing up. I didn't let it ruin my previously high opinion however and... More

Having been a few times before when visiting the area this place was still a must visit to take my friends to on a recent mountain holiday. Beautiful open fires and the brilliant jovial bar staff make for what could be an awesome atmosphere when it's a little busier. Being super early in the winter season meant it was pretty... More
