Rustic atmosphere at Boots Bar, try the Highland Game Pie

There is both a restaurant and a pub at the Clachaig Inn – we ate at the latter, Boots Bar. Boots Bar has a rough, rustic atmosphere. The room is dimly lit and constructed mainly of rough cut wood and stone. Order and pickup at the bar. The bartender mistakenly wrote down one of our entrees... read more

Beautiful Inn in the most beautiful setting in the world! Great grub and excellent range of cask beers. Live entertainment is fab and the bar on a Saturday night has the best atmosphere around. Just amazing!

As a group staying close by we ate, most evenings, at the Clachaig Inn. There was always a good selection of beers on hand. The food was reasonable and the Highland Pie was very good. The vegetables were not particularly inspiring. The surroundings were fairly dated but comfortable. The selection of piped music was rather out of character being, I... More

Really good pub grub in the middle of the mountains near the bottom of the pass of Glencoe. The interior is very rustic, with the walls clad in planks and logs and roaring log fires( weather permitting). The food is a traditional pub fare with a bit of a twist. The burgers are venison, the pie is game pie, the... More

This place is awful. When we walked in, an abundance of staff were milling about behind the bar looking pretty aimless. It looked like a restaurant however, no one came over to our table so we had to guess that we had to go to order to the bar get menus then order. Here is the first trick...you pay for... More

Great location and view with outside seating. Menu choice not extensive but enough choice to keep all satisfied. Food was of an excellent standard but service could have been a bit more attentive. Mains arrived before the starters were cleared.

Visited here recently and would definitely recommend it, we spend our time in the the boots bar. the food was basic but lovely with generous portions and the atmosphere on Saturday night especially was brilliant due to the live music! It's a lovely warm place to come into after a long walk! However the only thing that let the place... More
