Helpful Staff and a reasonable selection of Gluten Free food for Coeliacs - I had an excellent, reasonably priced Ploughman's Lunch

Near Lacock Abbey, liked the architecture of the exterior. Very busy at lunchtime which is expected in this lovely village.

We went to visit Lacock and ate lunch at this place, as the town is small and there are no many options to eat. They did not treat us with the politeness and friendliness we have found in all the places we have been visiting through England, as the lady was kind of rude. Then, the meal did not reach... More

Went in to have a bite to eat on our return journey from Dorset. The food was very good as was the service, they were very busy. Nice coffee as before. One of those places where if in the area you will call back time and time again.

This charming old inn has immense character. We stopped by for lunch and ended up spending the afternoon there. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the food was very enjoyable. A wide range of drinks (of all kinds) is available. Please note: There is no accessible toilet. However there is one in the car park behind the building.

Four of us recently had lunch in The Red Lions, having taken advice from a National Trust volunteer at the nearby carpark, very good it was too. With accompanying drinks (beer/cider/coke) we had four rounds of sandwiches; two smoked salmon, one tuna and one prawn together with a bowl of chips. The bar staff were friendly and helpful, our food... More

had lunch in the garden with my husband and eldest son. Was not planned but we were treated well by staff and although the pub was busy the service was quick and well delivered. The food was well cooked and well presented. The menu choice was good and not too much choice which I prefer. Prices were average for a... More

I found this place while I was on a tour bus stop. The tour company had scheduled dining at the another restaurant in town. That restaurant turned out to be not so good, as this town was small I walked around the corner and found this place. They were able to accommodate my gluten free needs. Nice save! Good place,... Whilst we were staying at the hotel we booked an evening meal, which was a disappointment for me as a veggie as the choices were limited and not very special. The soup and bread was excellent and my partner thoroughly enjoyed her main meal but my pasta dish was nothing to write home about. There was one poor chap serving... More
