I am very sorry that you had food poisoning from millers but I regret that we are not associated with the hotel. With regards to the moules that you had with us, I can only apologise on behalf of the kitchen if you found them unsatisfactory. We only serve fresh mussels which are delivered four times a week from our... More

We only stopped for a sandwich, but the sandwich was a meal in itself. Amazing value. We live locally but had only had tea here before. Great food & service. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent food and good value for money. Nice atmosphere in a traditional style pub. Good service and fab view of the sea. Will definitely return.

Roast Pork was excellent. Fish & chips very poor for £10.50, small piece of fish, allegedly cod but doubtfull, covered in a thin, flat chewy batter. Worst I have had in the area Atmosphere spoiled by a group, who appeared to be friends of the landlord who had to speak four times as loud as everybody else and the women... More

Today was a trip out in the sunshine to the ship at porlock weir which the sat nav failed to find, and had us chasing around the english countryside, and finally sense and sensability took over and we arrived at this beautiful hot spot for walkers and dog lovers. Beautiful views, great pub, really good honest pub food, brilliant ales... More

Made welcome, felt like a real local pub. Excellent range of real ales and a good range of meals. Such a change from chain pubs.

Sat outside as it was a sunny afternoon. Tried a couple of local beers St Austell Tribute and Exmoor Ale which were excellent but felt a little on expensive side (assume paying for the location) Service was quick and courteous when ordering drinks. Can imagine in peak season this would be very crowded and getting a table would be a... More

Called in for a drink on the way back from the beach. We were a bit taken aback by the over zealous demands for ID. Not the best kept pint of Tribute. Good job we were all thirsty.
