We bought a weekend home in the town late last year and have visited this place often in the last few months. The food and drinks are of good quality in this cafe. But we found some of the staffs there were far from friendly. It's a cafe in a small tourist town and I'd expect a real community sense... More

The food here is varied and all delicious. Coffee is great too. Best coffee shop in the area in my opinion!

Visited with my husband and 2 children on a hot day. Scoured the town trying to find something a child would eat - not very many child friendly places in Church Stretton - finally settled for this place. Menu good, though again nothing child friendly. Jacket potatoes sold out at 2pm on a Saturday! As was the quiche! Asked for... More

Very nice food, nice and friendly staff. Abit on the dear side but worth it. If disabled you would have to cope with going down steps to get in the dining area, which could be awkward.

What a gem. Our first visit. It won't be our last. All locally sourced food freshly prepared and reasonable priced. Very friendly staff.

Went to Stretton with my wife who as used this place quite often. When you walk in the smell of the cooking is great, the decor is plain and simple but quite classy. The choice of menu is very good and they make a point of using as much local produce as they can. Our lunch consisted of a goats... More

My wife and I stopped by here a couple of months ago to get out of the weather. Lovely little spot. I had a sandwich and a nice cuppa, but my wife had the most beautiful mulligatawny soup. I always wish I had ordered what she had, but I pinched more than a spoonful of this. Great food, better than... More

Ginger and Green's was recommended to us by the delightful lady who runs the chocolate/sweet shop close by. On entering we were pleasantly surprised by the smell, warmth and atmosphere. I could not resist the home made Shropshire Blue and red onion sausage-roll with salad - delicious, swilled down with a proper macchiato. My wife had an excellent dairy-free hot... More

I had to meet a friend in Church Stretton today and stepped into a quaint little cafe to get out of the rain. What a delight. The pea and mint soup was fantastic! A real hidden gem which I will be visiting again.

This was a great find during my recent trip to Church Stretton. It's warm and very friendly and its decor is contemporary and stylish. There are newspapers for customers to read - customers are not hurried out as soon as they have finished the last drop of coffee! The place attracts a clientele of all ages - clearly a popular...
