Excellent quality food for good value served to you sincerely by a waitress today who seemed to enjoy chatting to a colleague rather than concentrate on her potential customers. She apologised to three sets of people for not noticing their entry to the cafe, acting surprised she had not noticed them. "Perhaps the bell of the door was not working"... More

My daughter took me to this little restaurant that is tucked away down an alley in Church Stretton, just off the High Street. Considering I have lived in Shropshire all my 59 years and visit Church Stretton regularly I have never been here before. I was very nicely surprised to find locally sourced, freshly cooked food (on the premises), beautifully... More

Lots of chaos around us, at Berry's, given the 3 little kids, muddy boots, and everyone having tea and cakes, but there are plenty of separate spaces to sit and everyone was patient and friendly. It's my third time there, and everything about it has been thoroughly enjoyable.

I had driven from Yorkshire (about 2 and a half htours) with my wife and a friend in very wet and windy conditions, for the afternoon funeral of a friend. Looking for shelter and lunch, we happened on Berry's. This was just what we needed. My wife needed guidance on lactose free menu items, and this was readily and pleasantly... More

We just happened to come across this quirky coffee shop on a wet Sunday afternoon. As mentioned in earlier reviews, it wasn't clear whether we would be seated or not so we hung around a little but as nobody was about we ventured a bit further into another room. The various rooms have a mish-match of furniture that works really... More

To be fair I must state that we have only ever eaten cake, scones, teacakes etc here as we use it fairly regularly as a treat stop after a walk in the local area. We have always found the service to be prompt and polite and the atmosphere and furnishings relaxing. The tea pots are very generous and we have... More
