We wanted a quick coffee and was just walking around the town when we came across this little gem. Excellent menu which persuaded us to go for a light snack with the homemade soup with scone and cheese. The coffee house is very cosy and homely. Good value and great service

after breaking down in our car on the way to Ludlow races we had a couple of hours to kill while waiting for repairs. We went for lunch in this wonderful coffee shop the meal and friendly staff turned a disaster into a lovely afternoon treat. Both our meals were top quality home cooked food and the cakes were just... More

On our annual visit to Church Stretton we always have lunch here. Food is very average but good service. Cottage Pie (or whatever it was I had) was unmemorable except that it was greatly under seasoned. Meal also needed gravy on it to make it less dry. Nice surroundings and helpful staff. Although for some strange reason in this day... More

We have just spent the day walking off our Christmas food in the Cardingmill Valley! After our walk and sandwiches we walked into Church Stretton and found this exquisite little coffee house called Berry s. My husband and I had a hot chocolate and a cup of tea and then had to make a decision as to which slice of... More

Been here many times for either just a cup of coffee or a lite lunch. The coffee and tea choice is wide and excellent (they could even think of selling their blend?). The food is of a consistently high quality and they tend to have a wide choice made from their small busy kitchen. Daily specials along with the one... More

This tucked away Tea Room was recommended by a lady serving us in a local Charity shop, and we are so pleased that she did, as we were visiting the area and not aware of the best places for food. Tucked away down an alley, but a warm welcome, good choice of freshly prepared food, with mouth-watering choice of cakes... More

Berry's is accessible with excellent service and food. Last time I visited the waitress noticed that I needed hot water to top up my teapot before I even asked. The cakes are yummy and the savouries are quality. Thank you all, good service doesn't go unnoticed! The loo is quirky and could be improved.

I took my Mum and wife to Berry's and we enjoyed a fantastic lunch! Superb local meats, salads to die for and the home made quiche is quite superb. The waitresses are all pretty, smile and joke with the customers and are quick to serve. The local beers are great and the coffee hot - I just wish I'd had... More

We stumbled across this hidden gem by following the pavement signs down the side lane and thank God we did. The food is simple, home cooked fare and cooked well. I can think of nothing that I can recommend to be improved. All the ingredients are locally sourced, including the real ale. If yu are looking for truly wonderful food... More

Stopped off in Church Stretton to break our journey. By chance came across Berry's. Had the best cheese sandwich I can ever remember eating, just sublime. Good coffee too. My daughter, feckless child, did not want her brownie so I ate some of that. It was top draw. Definitely stopping here again and will consider planning journeys to ensure we... More
