Small and perfectly formed! Lunch here mid-week. Cosy i.e. smal, old style and "honest" pub. Great friendly attentive staff. Small coal/log open fire to warm one's parts too! Gammon steak was awesome as was ham, egg and chips. Very well kept ale including 6X. Excellent quality food, excellent value for money, great atmosphere - old style and very welcoming -... More

Small, cozy pub with good beer, nice people and a log fire too. What's not to like. We popped in for one and stayed the whole night. Good selection of well kept beers.

Fantastic old pub - that's the building. Everything else is dire!! Reasonable choice of beers but no choice of wine and red was dreadful- served in an airline style 1/4 bottle. Choice was take it or leave it- I rather wished I had left it. Service was acceptable but can't say more than that. Had planned to eat but that... More

Lovely historic old pub with wood-panelled front bar. Good beer, a friendly welcome, and the best steak and ale pie I've had for ages. Only a limited menu of "pub favourites" , but good value.

This is a real gem of a pub. It is the oldest pub in Louth and is full of the old charm you'd hope for. I really enjoyed the good, honest pub food, reasonably priced and good sized portions. The food was cooked with quality ingredients. The pie was fab - stuffed full of tasty meat - quality well above... More

My friend treat me to lunch here yesterday. The menu isn't vast but good quality food was served at a reasonable price which included proper home made chips. The decor is olde worlde as you would expect from a traditional tavern that's been serving the folk of Lincolnshire for over 300 years. Just duck your head on the way in... More

My wife and I called into the Ye White Swan for Sunday lunch and found it had been taken over by new owners. It was a traditional lunch with a choice of roast beef or chicken. We chose the beef and were not disappointed, the portions were very generous with two huge slices of beef with yorkshire puddings, carrots that... More

My Wife & I were on a wandering day out and decided to pop in for a a quick lunch. It is as you expect from the outside ~ a cozy English pub with no airs or graces, we sat in the front bar served by a very friendly lady. We both had Ham, Egg, Chips & peas. It arrived... More
