Was promised this was best Indian in Britain & how true. Lovely attentive staff, quick service. Poppadums are my kryptonite & are lush! Starters are varied & delicious. Huge choice for mains & when we ordered the hottest curry on the menu we got cheers, tonnes of fresh yoghurt/milk & free drinks! They will do trad indian dishes not on... More

Vegetable rice a bit mushy and greasy which is never a good sign, mains ok, sides & breads bland. Service ok, 1 happy bloke, 1 grumpy bloke and a polite young lass. £50 for 2 incl 2 pints and 2 halves so a bit pricey. Won't be back.

Ordered a delivery arrived in good time, unpacked food no spills clearly marked and correct, although popadoms broken up and on tasting a little soft/stale. Lamb passanda, lamb with apricot both ok although little difference in taste but a good portion, chilli chicken little or no heat with little flavour, chicken tikka masala nice creamy sauce but otherwise uneventful, rice... We ordered our meal, hour and half later still not arrived. Call back to ask how much longer it's going to be to be told it would be 10 minutes. 20 minutes later still not arrived. So we rang back to cancel as past being hungry. All they could say is sorry we are extremely busy tonight. Maybe so but... More

In my opinion this is the best Indian in town. Food is to die for. It's not the biggest place though so to avoid disappointment id suggest ringing in advance because you wouldn't want to miss out on their food!

Food was very good as always, this is reflected in the restaurant being full on a Thursday night. This is a small intimate restaurant, with a friendly warm welcome.

We have not been to Bombay for a couple of years due to moving to Grantham, we have now moved back to a surrounding village and we make the trip down to get a take away from here about once a month. Neil is fantastic and always has a warm welcome. Food is always hot and i have never had... More

I often visit the Bombay Brasserie, West Street, either with friends or my partner. I was first introduced to Bombay Brasserie when I was very young, 16, as they kindly sponsored my youth football team. Since then I have been back time and time again over the last 5 years. This restaurant has never disappointed me or anyone I come... More
