Visited for lunch with my wife and youngest son (3yo) as this pub has been recommended by friends and gets rave reviews on this website. We were not disappointed. Very friendly service from a real barman (has a personality and knows the menu and prices without having to check first). Great beer; not seen Pilsner Urquell on draft around here... More

Popped in on spec on a Saturday night last Saturday week. They found us a table for two, the Steak and ale pie was the best I have ever tasted. The service and the ambience of the pub is excellent and you are made to feel welcome. Would recommend to all

Spent a few nights in here last week whilst camping up the road at Orchard Park (20 mins walk) The pub is located right by the crossing, is dog friendly, shows sport, has great real ale and splendid home cooked food The staff were fantastic, chatty, personable and very welcoming to my little dog We chatted throughout the night about... I've been here twice as I was staying nearby. First night I had an excellent meal for a reasonable price - very nice. Second night it was fully booked, so I can't comment as I went elsewhere. So, if you want to be sure of a table, make sure you book!

On the way home tonight we decided to drop in for a bite to eat. I can safely say that the steak and ale pie is about the best I have had. The staff were friendly and the service was good. I haven't been in here for years. I will be back again. Well impressed. Thankyou.

Just been with our dog, food was excellent, staff and owners were very nice and welcoming. Looks a bit unassuming from the approach, but well worth a visit. If we come back to Lincolnshire visiting this pub again is a must!

Had an enjoyable evening in this pub which I would recommend for a drive out. The menu was varied and not the corporate clone menu of so many pubs these days. The staff were friendly and the beer good.

Having seen the upgraded signage and website my daughter and I decided to go have a try out of the new menu. We had mentioned in the past that we would like alternative vegetarian options, the new Mozarella burgers are to die for, a taste sensation that is pure indulgence. The Owners listen to their customers and take on board... More
