I poped in for lunch today for a quick lunch on my own, I ordered the fish which came with potatoes and baby spinach - perfect. To finish an Amalfi lemon posset, if you love lemon posset and Amalfi lemons you'll understand why I wanted to order another half dozen. I was recommended an italian white and it matched the... More

Just had delicious lunch at mark@street. Best pork belly ever and fabulous service. Probably the nicest loo in town also

Went there on a Wednesday night for our fourth time. The restaurant was running a celebration menu for their 3rd anniversary. I was initially worried because this menu only gave three choices of starter and three mains. Normally the A la Carte has more options. I have to say though that the food was exceptional as ever. The chicken terrine... More

Contemporary menu with a light touch; delicious combinations of foods, beautifully presented. Great wines available. Low key but professional staff. A real find and to be recommended for anyone looking for seriously good food. We were a party of 14; the unanimous verdict: WOW!

By far the most outstanding meal I have tasted. The service was professional and the standard of food was beyond believable. Ambience was pitched perfectly with a friendly atmosphere. Mark is an inspirational chef and I will be going back

This was the second time I've eaten here and both times have been left impressed and full to the brim. Have had the tasting menu on both occasions. 5 courses, an amuse bouche and petit fours with coffee. Washed down with 3 fantastic glasses of wine all for £60 per head. The tasting menu provides the anticipation of not knowing... More

When we said the main course pork was dry and tough, to be told that it was cooked in water and therefore it should be fine was an unacceptable response. We were offered a desert as compensation despite our decision not to have desert and we ended up being presented with a bill without any recognition of our complaint. Nevertheless... More

A friendly welcome from the waitress and the classy decor put us straight at ease. Sometimes you just know this is going to be good. Melt-in-the-mouth is one of the most over-used expressions by reviewers but that’s the only way to describe the food. This Chef knows what he's doing and he takes it seriously – you are in very... On the spur of the moment we decided on breakfast although at 13:45 it really was brunch! The food was all lovely, well prepared and looked good on the plate and tasted good, the flat white didn't need sugar always a sign of good coffee in my book. Somehow though something was lacking, maybe the atmosphere and dearth customers had... More
