Good food; hideous chairs!

Popped in for lunch and enjoyed delicious toasties and salad. Not at all impressed by the upstairs decor though. The bright pink, plastic chairs are hideous - like eating lunch in play school.

Brilliant, plus the chips were so very tasty I did not need any condiments. All made fresh on the premises. Great atmosphere and service - thank you.

Went for a late breakfast with my sister in law. I could hardly eat it all and the hot chocolate was first rate.

Artisan breads by award winning Baker Brothers, also tasty pasties and nice cakes plus light lunches served upstairs. Friendly and helpful staff in both shop and cafe. NB Their breads etc sell out quickly at lunchtime so get in promptly.

Our family have been going to Hobbs more than weekly for 5 years at least. We love it. The bread is of course the highlight. But the coffee is great too. Our children (x3) like the sausage rolls and the iced biscuits. The victoria sponge is excellent - my husband has it every Saturday unless they've run out - which... More

Great place for a light lunch. The sourbread toastie was excellent and filling made with good quality ham and cheese accompanied by a fine hot chocolate and capuccino. Limited catering for gluten free but some good cakes and ok light rye bread toastie. Service is friendly if a little slow and there is limited seating upstairs. Overall we would eat... More

We stopped here briefly for a quick refreshment break whilst walking in the area. I was very impressed with the location (Nailsworth is beautiful), the décor, the choice of drinks, cakes, sandwiches & pastries on offer. The staff were helpful & courteous. Real service with a smile.

Along with Williams, The Olive Tree there is of course Hobbs House that has helped put Nailsworth well on the map for culinary delights it has on offer. This is owned by The Fabulous Baker Brothers so do not expect to get a cheap load of bread inside, as this is baking at it very finest and the price reflects... More

We were staying nearby so popped in here a couple of times, firstly for coffee and cake - my husband had his favourite- Portuguese custard tart and I had a Bakewell slice. Today we had breakfast sandwiches - bacon and a bacon, sausage and egg in delicious crash bread. Would recommend. Inside there was a fantastic selection of cakes and... More

Dropped in to the Cafe above the famous bakery and shop. Enjoyed a delicious coffee and a bacon sarnie using fresh bread baked that morning. A very relaxing environment, with free WIFI and very popular with early morning shoppers and local business people. A cut above the usual "greasy joe's" breakfast cafe's and an enjoyable place for coffee and the... More
