Although we had enjoyed meals here several times previously - the most recent about six months ago - this was the first visit for a friend. He too was impressed! He and I started with lobster (bisque) soup, served with fresh bread - very well flavoured; my wife ate fish soup, equally well received. I followed with sea bream on... More

Beautiful oyster lunch following by a warming spicy crab soup with lashing of home cooked bread. Great food and service, as always!

Amazing halibut with white beans and chorizo, absurdly large prawns in garlic butter, and divine sole with capers and parsley, of course the smallest of the gang had posh fish and chips. Delicious! Great, friendly service with crayons and paper to keep little people entertained . Buzzing atmosphere and wonderful Iberico ham to taste as we arrived. Of course we... More

Williams has helped put Nailsworth on the culinary delights of why you should go to Nailsworth. It is renowned largely on fish menu. It is also a delicatessen so you can have a take away as well. I have had both options and it never fails to live up to its reputation Highly recommended and worth a visit in it... More

In a recent visit to Nailswoth predominantly to purchase fish from Williams as always top class, we decided to take lunch. Very nice menu I chose beer battered cod and my partner had mussels washed down with very nice couple of glasses of prosecco. Wished after seeing that I had chosen the lobster with hot garlic butter it looked lush...... More

Friends took us to this place for lunch, staff are so friendly, food was spot on, and afterwards we were choosing various super cheeses in the deli to take Back home with us.

We went for lunch (8 of us) and the table was nicely laid out and we given lots of time to settle, order our drinks and we were taken though the starters and main courses. The food was very fresh and plentiful and I didn't see one plate that wasn't cleared. Deserts and coffee followed and we were in there... More

Always a staple stop for lunch with my wife. Casual but well maintained. The food is mustard and always exciting and perfect. Great food. The skate wings are sublime if you fancy a menu speciality ! Stop by, take time out of your day to appreciate the best on offer around Stroud and district.....😍

Intended to eat here on a sunny morning, just one table already occupied. We arrived as another couple entered the garden, after 10 minutes their order was taken, after another 10minutes, we had not even been acknowledged, never mind been offered a menu, or asked what we wanted!! So we walked out and went elsewhere. Pity

Many moons ago this restaurant was called "Williams Kitchen".William has now sold up and this restaurant is back to top form. Its more a restaurant than a shop these days and the new owners might wish to consider a name change. Its the sourcing of the freshest fish that makes the food hall(sorry restaurant!) stand out.Skate wing needs to be really... More
