One problem.....you can't eat everything on the menu in one sitting!!

Seriously.....every dish on the menu looked delicious on paper and every dish we watched coming out of the kitchen looked exquisite. We opted for the hake (with beans, sun dried tomatoes etc) and sole (with samphire and new potatoes) both of which were awash with amazing flavours and perfectly... read more

Went in Friday afternoon to enquire of availability and menu. Staff very helpful. The menu was not printed but the waitress went to the kitchen and enquired of the Chef what he was cooking that night. Williams is a deli, oyster bar and Restaurent. We (4) booked for 8 pm. Food is predominately fish/seafood with one or two meat options.... More

This is a seriously good place to eat and also shop for good quality fish and seafood. The restaurant is limited in it's amount of tables and they get snapped up pretty quickly so I would recommend getting there early. It's a must if you're a fish lover.

Had some exquisitely fresh Mackerel the other day from here, took it home after they had filleted it for me and dressed it in a soy, chilli and lime marinade. Went beautifully on the BBQ, which they suggested, Can guarantee I shall be back, many thanks

Cafe cum Food Hall in this delightful town on the edge of the Cotswolds. Had a very appetising lunch from a varied and fresh menu. Attentive, friendly local staff and very good value for money.

Three of us went to Williams for an early lunch to celebrate my Grandmas birthday. The staff are very attentive and friendly and the food is just excellent. I had the Moules which came with crispy fries and it was delicious. The decor and atmosphere also make it an excellent spot for lunching.

On a visit to Nailsworth, Williams's was recommended to us by a family member and we were so pleased they did. In addition to dining, there is a great selection from the delicatessen, including quality fish and seafood. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with a couple of little ones at the table. The moules and frites I... More

This was our third visit and we were not disappointed. The food is always good. The staff is friendly and doing their job quite well. The only thing we don't like in this place: having to queue to pay. After having a lovely meal and some nice wine, it would be nice to be able to pay whilst seating. Maybe... More

We were in Nailsworth looking for morning coffee and popped into William's. Superb coffee and complimentary biscuits - homemade and delicious. Then it was to a nearby bookshop, and lo and behold, time for an early lunch. Where else to go but back to William's! We had moules frites and our son had crab croquettes. We have eaten moules frites... More

I was thrilled, but not surprised, to see this Cotswold gem featured in the Sunday Times yesterday. My daughter, who works for a major supplier to the food industry, insists on a restaurant meal (including oysters!), when she comes to visit - such is her opinion of William's. In fact she toyed with buying the business when William retired ...... More
