Lots of potential

A nice village pub, friendly service and a straightforward, tasty menu. Food was good value, although several of the dishes were not available. The pub is quite tired & needs a bit of TLC but it looks like it has lots of potential & lots of character.

I live in a town close to the Fox and Hounds Coaley and used to eat there with my wife and son and it was wonderful. country pub that is worth a trip out,Coaley villagers should give it their custom.Jon and Abi are really trying keep this pub going in the face of difficult financial times for everyone.The previous two couples who had the tennancy 'ran it down',but it's getting back to it's (john and Mary carter) best days,thanks to this hard working couple !!!!

This lovely country pub is well worth a visit. The young couple that run it are friendly and very accommodating. Live music nights like the one we went to Saturday are great fun.
