This restaurant is very clean. The service is great. The food is great, too. We had the catfish and it was cooked to perfection. Good thick pieces with just the right crunch. They also serve steak, shrimp, burgers, ribs, and lots more! They are open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings and nights. Well worth a try if you want... More

We had a party of 6 and they tried to seat us on this enclosed patio with 2 long tables. It was filthy from top to bottom. Matchstick blinds so caked with grease & dirt that you could scrape it off. Flies all over. Ceiling fans with burnt out bulbs, stains on the wall and filth on the floor. We... More

Staying at Forrest City, Arkansas for one night I was not impressed by the restaurants near the hotels and highway. So I drove a couple of miles into town where I came across Mallard's Grill. Here was a small family run business that just does everything right. Their specialty is steak and ribs so I stuck to that. A beautifully... More

Steak and baked potato were excellent. Salad was limp, salad dressing came from a closed pouch. So did sour cream for potato. Red wine was OK. The place had excellent staff and quick service but was worn down. It was full of customers, however. Needs a facelift. It is a do-over anyway - I liked it.

I was surprised when I got my bill for a $9 meal & 3 drinks--$48. I asked for a breakdown & found out I paid 25% alcohol tax & 11% food tax in Forrest City, Arkansas. Wow! NYC isn't that bad. Very limited menu & not great food-stay away from this place.

My wife and I had dinner here while traveling through. I ordered the salmon and when it arrived I quickly knew why I went for years without eating salmon……….tasted fishy….I don’t like for my fish to taste like fish. My baked potato was hard instead of being moist and soft. Rolls must have come from the local grocery store. We... More

The hotel clerk at Hampton Inn recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed. They had a wide selection of items. The food was well prepared, the service was good, and the prices were reasonable. No real theme here, just good American cooking. There was plenty of parking across the street.

A pleasant atmosphere, good mix of people and good food for the price. It's a casual dining experience with great service and good food. Very clean restrooms too. As we were leaving we saw the band warming up for a live performance in the outdoor area. Good kids menu too. If you're in Forrest City this is the place to... More

Food is outstanding. I had the Top Sirloin and it was delicious also I recommend the sweet potato casserole (yum). Watch out for the Long Island Iced Tea - one is plenty... Forrest City is NOT dry.
