Great Breakfast - Great Location

We had just moored up at Half Penny Quay and needed a cooked breakfast. We looked no further than this cafe. For just over five pounds we got the full english with ample supply of bread and butter. They know how to fry eggs here - just right and generous portions. The sausages tasted great and... read more

We visited this café when moored up before our to sail to Holland. It is a very popular and lively café and a great place to observe the hustle and bustle of the local fisherman and boats that come and go. The food is great serving locally caught fish and shell fish and the atmosphere is fantastic. Always a great... More

Just had lunch, their food is good well cooked and very reasonable. Everything is freshly cooked as you order and they do 2 meals for £10 off the board. You can eat inside on chilly days or outside on the pier and watch the boats. The staff are very friendly and try to please any tastes and changes to their... More

The location is actually on the Pier overlooking Harwich Harbour, Felixstowe Docks and Harwich International Port. Right next to the RNLI Lifeboat Station. Fantastic if you like shipping boats or wide open views across the Stour and Orwell Estuaries. Had all day breakfast on a Sunday morning with my 11 year old grandson. We both enjoyed a great breakfast and... More

You can sit inside (limited seats) and outside along part of the pier, a great place to people watch and enjoy the sunshine. Food good given the small facilities they have and service is good too.

Delightful place for alfresco breakfast, lunch or a bite to eat on the pier in relaxed surroundings. Good food reasonably priced. Good quality coffee and hot chocolate, these are a good measure for me, if a place does these badly it's a good indication of the food standard. Very enjoyable and we will return. Rated 4/5 as didn't find staff... More

There are not many cafes in Harwich, this one is very good, weather was great so we sat outside and enjoyed the views. Freshly cooked food was excellent, reasonably priced, clean premises and I was impressed with the pleasant staff.

Typical cafe style food, teas, coffee, ice-cream etc., very popular with locals and visitors alike. Could do with more table seating but it is on the pier and there are plenty of benches.

We visited Harwich on a bright but cold day and found that in February there were not many places open - shops or attractions. However, this cafe was open and very busy so we first went in for a coffee. There was a good atmosphere and friendly efficient service. So good, in fact, that we returned for their lunch offer...
