sat in the sun drenched courtyard for a quick lunch. Lovely well filled sandwhich. Freindly, accomodating service. Have been there a couple of times now and and always had a postive expereince.

The Courtyard provides excellent gluten-free items, including bread, brown or white and cake, lemon cake and chocolate brownies. The breakfasts are excellent especially the gluten-free toasted bacon sandwiches. The service is good and the staff excellent. Sunday lunch is also available although I cannot comment on this as I have not yet been there on a Sunday.

After waiting longer than we should we finally got served along with all the other tables outside who then got their drinks before us, we ordered paninis which stated it came with salad and crisps, there were no crisps and the salad consisted of a slice of cucumber, a slice of tomato and a small lettuce leaf! This was priced... More

As it was getting on for 2 pm on a Tuesday, decided to have a snack in this café. Most of the tables were taken. But we did not have to wait long before our order was taken. People continued to come in, so the place was quite full. After about ten minutes, our food and drinks arrived. Thought that... More

We sat down and waited. And waited. Several times my wife tried to attract someone's attention. Three times we asked to be served and three times staff walked past without any acknowledgement. When someone they knew arrived they served them immediately. Even when we decided to pull on our coats and walk out no one came over to ask if... More

We went into this cafe for lunch. It looked reasonably busy so thought that must be a good sign. On going inside it looked promising, quite airy, large prep area etc...a cross between a cafe and simple restaurant. Two other tables entered at a similar time. One had their order taken and drinks arrived- our table along with the other... More

The staff were the most miserable bunch of people you could hope to meet. Every one of them looked like they had just lost a loved one. The worst offender, (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE,) was like a miniature thundercloud floating round the restaurant and raining on the customers. These people have NO idea what service is about. I felt... After taking my kids to the brilliant children's shoe shop next door we have popped in here for a snack, it's usually weekends or after school. Really impressed with the improved service and wide menu. Kids love the Coke Floats and cakes, I'm trying to eat lighter and the salads and crudités are perfect

This place recently changed it's name to The Vineyard, the service here is still good with the same staff, but I think they are letting themselves down on cooked breakfasts, temperatures could be hotter and I believe they might be buying some parts in ready to go in a microwave. This never use to be the case, but the cakes... More

Nothing wrong with the food at this slightly tucked away coffee shop and cafe, but the service didn't live up to expectations.
