Afternoon Tea for Two

Found this ideal restaurant and managed to get a seat on the outside upstairs overlooking the bay. The owner was very polite and although we were 30 mins too early to order a high tea he provided us with one. When it arrived I was surprised how good and plentiful it was. £16 for two. I will be... read more

This is a hidden gem of Lyme Regis! It is the top level above another cafe and it's brilliant green signs are a beacon along the seafront. The gentleman served us well and was welcoming, friendly and pleasant. All five of us in our party enjoyed our meals, especially the 2 different fish dishes on the specials board. Even when... More

We were a bit dubious heading upstairs but we were happy to find such a nice restaurant. Too cold to go outside we had the table by the window with great views. Had lunch, which was a burger, a kids meal, and jacket potatoes. We all thought the food was excellent and we will be visiting again.

We had been in Lyme for a few days. We decided to stay for supper so that hopefully the traffic would have eased by the time we got up to the M5/4. We had been here before but when it was under different ownership. This time it was lovely to get into a warm cosy environment as it was just... More

Weekend just gone we stopped do for lunch here. Good food and reasonable prices and we could take our well behaved dog in too! Bit tight on the stairs on the way in and out but worth it!

Spotted the roof terrace from the gardens across the road, wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious and good value for money. Can recommend the broccoli and stilton soup, shortbread biscuits tasted homemade. There was eight of us and the service was friendly and very good. Nice clean toilets and dog friendly.

I bright sunny day albeit cold. We were looking for somewhere near the Cobb to have breakfast and were lucky enough to find the Lyme Tree. The owner could not have been friendlier or given us a warmer welcome. We sat out on the terrace over-looking Lyme Bay and were served cold beers whilst we waited for our breakfast. I... More

Went here for our Christmas lunch and what a feast! We had the turkey with all the trimmings, followed by Christmas pudding and breaded Brie ( yes it's a starter really but it makes a lovely dessert too!). All delicious! The owner was wonderfully welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Having the seat in the window gave us the... More
