Set at the back of the general post office I had until last week not seen or tried this little gem of a place. Excellent friendly service with lovely home produced sandwiches, light meals, and best of all warmed up cake with clotted cream swallowed down with excellent 'clipper fair trade tea. Looking forward to sampling again god willing in... More

My favourite cafe in Lyme Regis, this is borne out by the locals who regularly frequent this wonderful little cafe. I've been there many times and it has great family and community spirit, always filled with laughter. They have a creative and very tasty menu, which is very reasonably priced. The coffee is very nice indeed. And in the summer,... More

An absolute gem of a tea room hidden away at the back of an antique shop behind the post office in Lyme Regis high street. Quirky decor, 1940s music, delicious milkshakes and one of the nicest BLT's I've ever eaten. P.S. it's not huge so you may have to wait for a table during peak times (we got lucky).

Enjoyed a good meal on a wet day in Lyme Regis. Tasty soup, toasted sandwiches and milkshakes for pudding. Very cosy. Excellent service.

Well worth seeking out if you fancy afternoon tea in Lyme Regis. The decor is fun, really makes you relax and smile.Scones and cake were yummy and the hot chocolate was to die for. Great value for money also! Will definitely visit again the next time we are in Lyme.

Stumbled across this lovely place a few years ago and is found at the rear of the Post Office. A family ran Coffee Shop, but takes you back in time. Fantastic welcome and Cakes and Scones the best in Lyme - you must try here.

Great little tea room hidden in the back of a shop. The staff are friendly, the place is decorated beautifully and the scones are gorgeous. Highly recommended. We come here for tea and scones every year that we visit Lyme.

This has to be one of the happiest little cafe we have ever been in, it is impossible to leave it without a smile on your face. We go to this cafe every time we visit Lyme Regis and it never changes, it is family run and they staff it with total pride. Hidden away at the back of the... More

Found this cafe by accident as we saw a sign for an antiques emporium. The little cafe at the back is very quaint and the staff are extremely helpful. Definitely recommend this cafe to anyone visiting lyme who has managed to climb the hill past all the shops. l

Family owned business' don't come much better, hidden away behind the post office and a querky antique/gift shop sits Penny Black where everyone is made to feel welcome, has a tardis like quality as well as home made treats. Hatty is a pro at making conventional as well as more obscure coffee/tea based beverages too!
