Wide selection of different from run of the mill sandwiches, most could be made using gluten free bread alternative. Vast array of tea, some were locally produced. All the cakes were homemade with a wide variety and they were all gluten free. They also do meals on a board inside the café. Not that I used it but there was... More

For the food only I would give four stars, but it loses a star because of the lady behind the counter, the one with red hair, who we felt was generally stand-offish and unwelcoming. This really lets this lovely coffee shop down terribly. You enter the cafe and go to sit down, but no one actually speaks to you or... More

On holiday with my son and his family. The staff were very helpful and a very good choice of gluten free food. Coffee and cakes were very good and it has a small play area for very young children . Interesting light bite menu and will certainly go back again when I am next in the area.

Have visited here several times this week and have enjoyed the coffee and cake very much. The staff are really friendly and the coffee is great quality. They provide facilities out the back for little children to play, so it's popular with mums and prams. If you want to avoid little ones, it's not for you, but we loved the... More

This is a great little place opposite the museum. We had panini and coffees/teas and it was just amazing. I had the ham and cheese on granary panini and it was soooo tasty - best ever. The ham was nice and thick (not really thick, just not wafer thin) with a fantastic taste and lots of gooey melted cheddar. All... More

Really good coffee or tea, Tasty treats to accompany the beverage and a very relaxed and comfortable environment. Opposite the museum so a useful place to meet or hang out while waiting for friends to finish their tour.

Cafe very vibrant, quite busy and very friendly girl serving.Very nice coffee, but disappointed with the small but expensive Latte, which was only warm, Had a lovley fresh scone though, but wanted a brunch type meal, but as it was past mid day,we could only have dailt special or sandwich.
