Aroma fills a niche for coffee-and-eats places in Lyme. If young surfers and eco-friendly folk of any age are in town and seeking caffeine, then this cafe will be on their list. The home-made cakes and lunch dishes are suitably appetizing. The coffee is a disappointment. My black Americano was more akin to washing up water than coffee. Also, the... More

Nice location and the atmosphere was nice. But by the time our coffees reached our table they were only just above warm, and half of mine was spilled on the saucer and my trousers by the waiter! The coffees tasted good, but as they were not very hot and quite small, we were done in about 5 minutes....promised so much,... More

We found this small cafe whilst searching for a gluten free lunch in Lyme Regis. We ordered the cheese on toast. We received 3 slices of tasty gluten free cheese on toast served with crisps or a salad. The cafe also served a range of teas, coffees and smoothies. The cakes on offer were all Gluten free but although they... More

Vegan, gluten free, this place caters for all! The cakes were delicious, I am a vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free. So I eat eggs and honey. The dishes were to large for us! Very happy with this find! The prices are reasonable, only problem, not enough space! Apart from that a perfect place to eat. Expand onto the roof???

Brilliant little Bistro - helpful staff and great food.. Oh! the coffee is one of the best.. On a busy summers day, good quality food in decent surroundings is hard to find in Lyme - but this is a gem!

Ate here yesterday with a grumpy partner and mischievous child! All left content and happy. Great value, great quality and fantastic for us vegans that want a spot of lunch!

I had the fabulous dorset cheese on toast with a superb side salad and my vegan partner had the thai veggie soup all were delicious. The very berry smoothie and flat white were perfect too. Thoroughly recommend eating here, you'll leave feeling happy and healthy!

My partner and I visited Aroma during a short holiday in Lyme Regis. As a coeliac it was great to find somewhere with a variety of gluten free food options, including toasties, sandwiches and cakes. The staff were friendly and the food was really tasty. I'd really recommend the ice cream milkshakes, which are served in retro glass milk bottles... More

This is an excellent coffee shop just a little bit out of the way but not too far from the beach. Their cappuccino and mochas were probably the best we've had, real quality flavour and you can even choose your strength of chocolate. Didn't eat here but menu looked good. Cakes on the counter were expensive, but only slightly more... More
