Local lovely coffee house

We are on holiday staying just across from this little gem and made it our regular. Coffee is awesome, also tried Johns tonic and also gunpowder green tea. We live in Australia, where we can go anywhere to drink a perfect flat white or filter coffee and this is on a par. The best coffee!!!! Please... read more

been in here loads of times, last time was Thursday 23rd July, coffee as good as ever, flat white this time, but food is always good including sandwiches, cake etc...but I do like the full english breakfast for around £7.50. The staff are always pleasant, the place is very relaxed and the Wi-Fi is good! certainly not a typical high... More

just out of the crowds it is well worth a visit, don't be put off by a tiny entrance it goes back. We ordered a latte and two hot chocolates with the works, it is the best latte we have had in ages and the hot chocolates were out of this world!

Great little funky café. Been multiple times for both coffee and lunch. Lots of drinks to choose from including milkshakes (espresso milkshake is lush!), smoothies, assortment of teas and coffees. Even the filter coffee is great! Lovely atmosphere and awesome interiors with fairy lights and drawings on the walls. Lunch is especially good with fresh sandwiches and salads. Proper salads... Tucked right off the main road through Lyme Regis, this is a delightful coffee shop selling excellent coffee. Had a sandwich and toasted cheese snack, both freshly made by the owner. Very unusual decor - struck me as very bohemian. Double decker buses squeeze through the narrow Lyme streets and appear to be almost about to come through the front... More

Being local, this is my first choice for lunch out with friends or family. Food is consistently good and cakes are fab. Coffee is great. The staff are always welcoming.

I could type an entire essay explaining why Aroma is such an amazing place. But I'm thinking that bullet points will be better. 1) Fantastic food. Plenty of choice for everyone, especially those on a gluten free diet as I am and vegetarians like myself. The cakes are absolutely out of this world. Whoever bakes them, I offer you a... More

Called in here for lunch , it's a very nice place to eat , but gets very busy as not too many seats . The staff were all friendly and the lad that served us definatly had the gift of the gab, liked joking around with the customers , very polite and friendly . I had a Sarnie with crisps... More

If I was to pick one cafe I love more than any of the many we visit, it is this one. We discovered it in 2012 on a Summer holiday and have returned every year since. We end up eating here several times during the week when on holiday in the area. Great food, and the very best coffee I... More
