We popped in for a quick drink mid morning, nice and welcoming and wonderful range of hot chocolates and cake. Given it is a small area there was even a childrens play area and baby changing space. Nice welcoming cafe.

Hands down the best flat white coffee that I have had in the UK since leaving NZ in 2009. Great cakes selection too

Our first trip to Lyme Regis and we chanced upon this smashing place. we had mackerel pate and a salad to die for. My partner won't eat cucumber-he hates it! But he ate it in their imaginative handling. We were wowed and will be back.

Very relaxed and friendly. During our week long stay in Lyme we came here a couple of times and I had a lovely veggie breakfast, a perfect cream tea and also sampled a variety of excellent hot drinks including the hard to find Genmaicha green tea with toasted rice. Staff are lovely, food is good, prices are keen - highly... More

I found this little cafe this afternoon, it is a great independent place, the staff are friendly and welcoming and helpful with suggestions of the home made cakes and salads. I plumped for the chocolate and lime torte, which is vegan friendly, I'm not a vegan by the way. The flavour was awesome and washed it down with a lovely... More

I love the atmosphere in Aroma, and the staff are always very friendly. Good tea and coffee, and lovely cake - wonderful. The kids area in the back is great, but my favourite place to sit is the sofa by the window - watching the traffic and tourists going by.

The Aroma building has been through a lot of changes in the last four decades and it's now the friendliest and best quality independent café in Lyme. For tea and coffee lovers who also want great food during the daytime (& that isn't as easy to find as you would think) this is definitely the best by a long way.... More

Relaxed, quirky cafe serving a fabulous range of coffees, cakes and locally sourced produce. It oozes charm the moment you step inside - at once cozy and enticing, work by local artists adorns the walls and I was immediately jolted out of my pre-programmed ´large americano, hot milk´ order. Opting for the Clever Drip (a table top filter that´s exactly... More
