Biked into Lyme Regis, walked the Cobb in the sun and then coffee in this cosy and comfortable independent cafe. Warm friendly welcome, fresh brewed americano and a chocolate tinker. Don't puzzle about what a chocolate tinker is, just go there and order one, you will not be disappointed.

What a find! Gorgeous cafe - cosy, friendly with fantastic fresh food. I'm coeliac and could have stayed all day eating my way through all the yummy options available. Wish I lived nearer - I would be there every day. Good, reasonable prices too. Well done Aroma - you're doing everything right!

This place is just back from the seafront which is perfect as it is less tourist crazed. The staff are lovely and there is a cute 'boat' area for the kids to play in whilst the parents re-energise. I loved our visit and the apple cake was scrummy. Great coffee of course and yummy after eight frappé. Highly recommend it.... More

We stumbled on this small quirky place that is full of rustic charm &character on a day trip. We had 'simple' paninis but with the trimmings they were sensational & the service & friendliness second to none. Bob & Val from Sunny Macclesfield

I had been recommended Aroma on West Dorset Vegans on Facebook after a disappointing visit to Tierra Kitchen. I went to Aroma late on a quiet Monday morning, had a delicious lunch of hummous, pitta, olives and salad and the most satisfying cup of Earl Grey with soya milk. Chap serving was very chipper and attentive. Disappointed there was only... More

Aroma is quirky, brilliant for those with food allergies, individual, good value and staffed by friendly efficient staff who know their stuff! You don't feel rushed and the food is carefully prepared. I love the fact that they use local ingredients and turn them into attractive food that appeals to all your senses rather than the pious feeling of it... More

My partner and i popped in to Aroma whilst we were in Lyme Regis for the day and heard they did gluten free food. Was not disapointed! I had their breakfast and it was fab! Best gluten free brekki i've ever had! The bacon etc was perfectly cooked and all the ingredients are locally sourced. They have a huge range... More

I am a complete gourmet coffee freak, so was amazed to find a real independent coffee shop in Lyme Regis. The coffee was of a real high standard and the cakes were amazing. We went back the following day for breakfast, and we weren't disappointed. Great food, lovely people.

Just popped in after picking up a discount voucher from the Lyme Regis museum opposite, and we all enjoyed a really tasty fresh milkshake. Hope to come back again one day!

I'm so used to going out for a coffee, lunch, snack and having either just an ordinary black coffee whilst my companions sit and much their way through delicious cakes and biscuits. I've sort of got used to it so now, when I do eat out (I'm coeliac and dairy intolerant), I pick what I can have rather than what... More
