The coffee is superb and the cakes really very good. I tried the gluten-free cake (although I have no intolerance) and it was light, rich and delicious. Recommended.

Lovely place to take a break. Really good coffee and amazing cakes. We stopped by end route to the beach, easy to find and reasonably priced

We visited twice in our two day break in Lyme Regis such was the testament to the excellent coffee served there. My wife also discovered a love for lapsong suchong although I feel it is rather like having a cup of tea while barbecuing. The service was mostly excellent on held up by the ditherers who looked like they had... More

We happened upon Aroma while exploring the Artisan quarter of Lyme Regis. A look through the window drew us in and we were lucky to grab the sofa and stools. There was no menu but as we were not intending to eat this was fine as all the drinks were on the chalk board. The staff at the counter were... More

A real find - a friendly, quirky cafe that is an excellent place to take a break for coffee/tea and cake (definitely recommend the cakes!) and a great place to sit peacefully, read or chat, and enjoy the art on the walls. There's a lovely little space for kids, complete with wall painting of the Cobb. Wish I lived closer!

This lovely coffee shop is a treasure trove of cakes, coffee, tea and - hot chocolate! You can even select the strength of the chocolate too. The cafe had a lovely vibe, with a real sense of community and pride of place. Lyme Regis has to be one of the loveliest places I've ever visited, and I'd love to go... More

We visited Wednesday Lunchtime and were instantly impressed by the cake counter containing really amazing imaginative cakes. Fabulous choices on the Menu and a great selection of refreshments. The staff are friendly, cheerful and very helpful, the service is prompt. If you go during 12 and 2 pm do prepare for a busy service but it's definately worth trying to... More

First visit to Lyme Regis on a busy Sunday and we happened upon this place opposite the museum while looking for somewhere for lunch. It was quite busy but we got a table just inside the door near the counter. Very impressed, loads of choice on the menu and all a bit different. They obviously use as many locally sourced... More
