Just revisiting some reviews and places and feel quite confused. We go here all the time we're in Lyme and we were there on 12 september 2013 when one of the reviewers said they had a bad meal. We had an excellent meal, stuffed peppers, rare sirloin and melon and chilli ice cream. Always get great service too. We must... More

Having eaten here before, I made a booking for a group of 16, which was confirmed by email. When we arrived at the restaurant it was closed, there was no answer on the phone. I have emailed the restaurant but have had no response. Luckily the fish and chip shop further up the road was very obliging, and told us... More

Service OK food poor. There are much better places than this. It was not cheap although there was plenty on the plate. It was a total disappointment. Lyme Regis has far more to offer than this.

My husband and I were child free one evening so we decided to drive to Lyme for the evening and have supper, we have walked past this little restaurant a few time and said we must go, we should of keep walking!!!!! The very young waiter was very sweet but when the food came it was disgusting, my white bait... More

We can't comment on the food here as waited for 35 mins just for a drink and left. We asked for a table and were told that we could sit and have a drink first. From there onward we were ignored. after 35 mins I asked if we could order a drink and finally it came. After getting a menu... More

6 of us had dinner on Wednesday 21st August. Brushetta was soggy, garlic bread was swimming in oil, the king prawn pasta dish had a lovely king prawn displayed on the top but alas it had not been cleaned so we avoided eating it, spaghetti bolognaise was VERY acidy & the pizza (when they eventually brought the right one) was... Having visited the Lyme Bay previously we have always liked the quirkiness of the restaurant, the relaxed atmosphere and lovely food. However, after the worst evening ever we would never return and would never recommend it. One waitress behaved like an insolent teenager, rolling of the eyes and very poor people skills. The food was mediocre and one dish was... More

Walked in and requested a table as there seemed to be fairly decent atmosphere from the outside and we were starving. Staff were friendly when we walked in, although one was a bit frazzled and stressed out and didn't seem to know if they had room for us or not. A bit chaotic. Anyway, after much scraping of tables and... More
