A lack of manners, courtsey and service marred our visit to this establishment which is a kind of cross between a pub, cafe and bar. Some staff lessons on hellos and welcomes would be useful. The food was good but not 'wow' and 13.80 for an open fish sandwich is quite pricey for bread that did not seem really fresh.... More

Great service, lovely fish dishes. Portions quite small and a little over priced in my opinion but would recommend. Round about £85 for 2 drinks, starter and mains and one cheeky pudding for 2 people.

Our evening got off to a bad start in that our reserved table had accidently been let go , due to a booking mix up. we were unsure for a short while whether we would be eating, & were discussing trying someplace else before it got too late. The owner stepped in and got us a drink then a table... More

After eating here some time ago, we decided to return, especially as the menu advertised on the little chalk boards out the front looked so tasty! It was the Monkfish dish that tempted us firstly, but as we found out when we arrived, so had everyone else. Thankfully we had booked a table, as it was packed, the service was... More

This was a random find while we were out walking, and we were very glad we stayed for dinner. The Harbour Inn is a bustling seafood restaurant, with a nice selection of daily specials and fresh produce. Although very busy, the waiting staff were polite and attentive.

We have eaten here several times in the last six months. On each occasion the food has been of an excellent standard. Last night we both had locally caught bass. It wad superb! This is a great pub next to the harbour, with friendly staff and wonderfully prepared local food served up without any fuss. One of the best places... More

We walked along the Marine Parade, and decided to have an early dinner. Had the Mussels, and then the Bouillabaisse. The mussels were excellent, in a white wine and cream sauce, but the bouillabaisse was a bit tasteless, with the main flavour being the tomato. My wife had the fish with vegetables and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. This is a... More
