Excellent food, fish terrine, fish soup followed by monkfish served with lobster sauce and lobster lasagne. Thoroughly enjoyable. Service was efficient and friendly. Dining area at the rear of pub very pleasant. Will certainly go back.

We weren't sure about eating in this place when we arrived in Lyme Regis. When we then found out that it was booked completely, we wanted definitely to eat here. We spoke to a gentleman who was probably the owner - seemed to be looking after the master list of table bookings. We toyed with trying to get a table... More

New to Lyme this pub was recommended to us Great location and service ok Seafood soup was ok, lots of it with a fair amount of bits of fish floating around. If we had left at this stage we would have been reasonably happy. But we didnt, we ordered fish pie. Seems how they make their fish pie is to... More

just back from a delicious evening meal. I had the starter sized mussels and my son the duck starter. both delicious and my hake and lobster lasagne from the specials board was very tasty as was the rib eye steak. Side salads a bit samey but nevertheless lovely. Add to this pleasant friendly service and you have a winning formula.

Recommended by our b&b in Charmouth, our Wednesday evening visit turned out to be a real pleasure. I'd phoned ahead that morning to book a table for 4 with a sea view and bingo! - a wonderful position in the bay window overlooking a stunning view of Lyme Bay, sunlit and vibrant on a beautiful summer evening. The menu prices... More

Busy pub and restaurant on the harbour beach. They have a restaurant, a bar, a patio and tables on the sand. We ate in the bar. I had a timbale (pressed cylinder) with mackeral, salmon and crab accompanied by tartar sauce. It was very good. To follow, I had braised fillet of turbot with new potatoes, asparagus and asparagus sauce.... More

We visit the Harbour Inn each time we visit Lyme and it just gets better and better. Food and service are excellent. Fish pie was delicious and my husband had the biggest bowl of mussels I had ever seen!

I've lost count of the number of times we've eaten at The Harbour Inn. It is definitely our favourite place for lunch when visiting Lyme and it didn't disappoint us. This time we feasted on Bouillabaisse and Fishcakes. Both dishes were a dream, but especially the fish and seafood stew - just sublime. Again cold white wine, sunshine and a... More

We took refuge in the Harbour Inn in the middle of a downpour! We had a warm welcome and the restaurant is perfectly located for views of the sea, the promenade and for people watching. Good beer and cider and an excellent, locally provisioned menu with an emphasis on fresh seafood. The service was excellent - there was a slight... More
