Called in for a drink and were treated rather like second hand citizens because we didn't order any food.Venue was pleasant enough, clean and inviting with a great outlook but the welcome not so. Will not be back.

The weather was bleak but we ventured out to dinner. The restaurant was adjacent to beach so few diners around. Starters were good but main meal disappointing. Steak was advertised as rib eye but was actually rump and fish cakes were patchy.

The food served at the Harbour Inn in is a lot better than the average "Pub Grub" our meal on a Sunday night turned out to be the highlight of the weekend in the West Country and that was after dining at a "name " restarurant on the Saturday night. We will be back.

This used to be a great eatery, serving fresh fish at modest prices, and received recommendations from some top chefs. I visited Lyme Regis recently, after a break of some 5 years, and headed to Harbour Inn for lunch. Unfortunately this establishment is now firmly resting on its laurels. Crab salad was badly presented, full of old limp leaves and... More

We were on a day trip to Lyme Regis as we were holidaying nearby and we decided to eat somewhere with a seaview. We chose The Harbour Inn. There were already people eating lunch when we arrived and there were a couple of tables with "Reserved" on them, so naturally we avoided them. We chose a table to sit at... More

Love eating here, good service, delicious food and a very good wine list, with a reasonable selction of beers too. The fish dishes are especially good - great Moules and stacked fish, often I'll pop in for an early quick supper of starter and fries and a good glass of NZ Sav Blanc ; ) . Sitting out on the... We popped in for lunch and I just had a starter of fish soup. Giant portion and the best fish soup I've ever eaten. So good we went back for Dinner same day and had scallops which were also excellent

The food is very good, bit pricey for what it is. It can get very busy, as it was when my wife and I went, this may have contributed to the lack of service from the staff and general rudeness of the main waiter.

Lovely Fish Restaurant with lots of character. Wide range of food and drinks - loved it. Short walk from the Town and Gardens near the Harbour.

The food at the Harbour is always consistently good, the standard is high and as the menu reads, you always get a meal as described on the menu. The food boards displayed in the pub are excellent fish dishes, meals are always served lovely and hot and you are guaranteed a delicious meal.
