Good food at the Harbour

Ate on a Saturday night and the place was very busy and buzzy. Food very good and service friendly. Returned on Sunday which was much quieter; good for us as we hadn't booked. Good range of regular and special dishes. Fish dishes tasty and a little different. Not cheap but then that's Lyme Regis I... read more

We had Lunch there. Nice place, cute little balcony, nice location. The food was very good, a bit pricy to say for what we have ordered, but I guess that is the Location. We would go there again

I enjoyed a delicious bouillabaisse of local fish in the sunshine on the beach edge with amazing views. Recommended.

Maybe we've been lucky (although consistently good is rarely down to luck) but we've just had another excellent meal at the Harbour Inn. Yes it is a pub/restaurant but the quality of the food in our experience has been great. We both had lamb on a busy Sunday evening and it was superb! Personally served by the chef (an indication... On the outside, it all looked very nice. I thought because it was a smaller menu, that they specialised in the food a little more. But it was pretty standard in taste and the portions were frighteningly big. The staff were rushing around everywhere, which didn't exactly create a nice relaxed mood. Overall I would say it was overpriced for... More

Lovely location, we sat outside just about on the beach, had a couple of drinks in the lovely sunshine.we had planned on eating lunch here, but after looking at the menu decided it was a bit pricey just for lunch, however, if we were having an evening meal, wouldn't hesitate to book. Inside was very nice, it was busy, obviously... More

We really wanted to like this restaurant as the menu looked to be a good one. The restaurant was very busy when we arrived for dinner and there were loads of kids there. The real ale was well kept and very enjoyable. We began with prawns in filo and a lobster cake. The lobster cake was the highlight of the... More
