Great & friendly staff. Menu is superb & the food is delicious. The coffee is good too. We visited twice - once for lunch & once for breakfast, I only wish we'd returned for a 3rd time to sample their fabulous looking cakes. Would definitely return if in the area.

Over priced coffee shop for a mid Devon market town. It's not Bath or London ! On the outside it says "Patisserie" . Last time I went to a "patisserie" was in Paris, a place full of homemade tarte aux fraise, lemon tarts, brioche , amazing chocolate bavarois and so on . Imagine going to waitrose but inside it's a... More

We popped in for a light lunch on a really rainy day, it brought a smile to our faces. We both had a hot chocolate to warm us up, we had the large cup, hot, smooth and just like liquid velvet. Hot chocolate of the highest quality. I had the mushroom and celeriac soup and my husband had roasted red... More

Visited twice in space of a week, 1st with 6 people then with 8. Both times the staff managed to fit us in with minimum fuss. Great food too.

We were looking for somewhere to have a light lunch today and the attractive facade caught our eye. On closer inspection we discovered a charming interior with delightful garden at the rear. We settled ourselves under the vine festooned canopy in the garden and made our choices. Despite being busy our lunch came very quickly and was hot, well presented,... More

We stopped off in Honiton en route to Cornwall looking for somewhere to lunch. This was recommended by a local and it was a great choice. They do lovely inventive lunches, beautifully presented, good choice for vegetarians and delicious range of cakes. At the back of the cafe are lovely gardens where you can sit out in good weather.

Toast is a nice little cafe on Honiton high street. There's a nice selection of cakes and fairly good choice of sandwiches. I like the fact it's table service rather than counter. My husband and I both had a salad and they were really nice. I do think the choices are fairly limited but that probably because I am fussy!... More
