Great place for a celebratory meal. Food and service excellent. There was only one problem is that car parking is very limited. But would definitely recommend it.

my wife and I choose this inn because it was listed as having an AA rossette, well I am afraid the food we had was not up to Rossette standard, we had a far better meal earlier in the week at a inn which had no rossette. The "veg" with my steak was watercress, which may in fact be a... More

Excellent meal last night. Duck parfait followed by superb lamb. If you have not been I strongly recommend going. Reka is a very good front of house and Andrew a very very good chef. Thanks to you both.

We booked via the Internet for Saturday lunch and we advise other potential customers to book also as this is a popular restaurant despite being off the beaten track. The food is very good from an interesting menu and is complemented by attentive staff and good service. The range of cocktails, wines and spirits is exemplary also, and we recommend... More

I was treated to a delicious early birthday dinner at the Normandy Arms. We started with an excellent G and T and a cocktail. Dinner was gorgeous, served by Reka who is excellent and thoughtful front of house. Duck parfait and fresh flavours salad to start. My main course was Creedy Carver duck breast with excellent wild garlic pesto, Jersey... More

Stayed here the night of the 14th May after having to cancle two previous bookings due to ill health. Only live 20 minutes drive away but well worth the experience. Resturant first class and B and B very very good. Rooms spotless and top notch breakfast. Reka and Andrew are superb hosts and I cannot fault the business. If you... More

Ate in the Normandy Arms last night with my daughter and really enjoyed the experience - a lot! The duck with a wild garlic sauce was just divine and my 12 year-old devoured a ribeye steak and loved it. And then we had some pudding to share - a chocolate cheesecake with ice cream - all inn-made of course -... More

Booked a table for 7pm in this quiet village near Dartmouth for a change from our normal venues.Received a warm welcome and offered a table by the window in the bar area. The food was excellent supported by good service from the staff.Although the room lacked something in atmosphere the arrival of more diners brightened things up.It is definitely worth a... We booked for 6.30 for four. The service was pleasant and a good balance of attentiveness. The food was excellent . For starters; pressed ham hock and liver parfait were favourites, main courses; rabbit was sensational and plaice excellent. We paid £155 in total for 4 x 3 course meals plus bottle of wine and cocktails.
