Friends had stayed and said how good it was and so we decided to try the restaurant for ourselves whilst on holiday in the area. We were not disappointed, finding the food and wine excellent. The white chocolate mousse with roasted peaches and raspberries pud was outstandingly good. Well worth going out of your way to find this restaurant.

Good good, excellent service and a range of value menus there is no reason for is not yo return. The trio of salmon was expertly prepared and presented but the star was a lamb en croutes with fresh vegetables.Local lamb cooked well is a real luxury and it was both. A white chocolate mousse and peach fool should have been the end... More

It is well off the beaten track and after negotiating single lane tracks to find it I was regretting booking it. If you want a pub on a main route this isn't for you. The menu, food and service was all very good. Had potted crab starter and lamb en croute with dauphiose potatoes, leeks and mushrooms. Price not bad... More

Lovely environment and great food with impeccable service. Stayed here for a long weekend and thoroughly it. We searched high and low for great food and found it here. Also recommend the Laughing Monk down the road, which was great too. Made a big mistake in going to the Cricket Inn at Beesands, which was dreadful - avoid it like... More

I arranged my son's 40th for Saturday evening. We asked for drinks in the garden beforehand and the fizz all brought over for us...16 of us all served together with a variety of meals and not a single problem or issue. I could not fault anything so thank you to Normandy Arms and the very helpful owners for the super... More

For the 3rd year in row, for our anniversary we have been here, we travel from South Wales pitch a tent and go for the most wonderful meal. This time I phoned the before not only to book a table, but to ask if we could have beaunize sauce, no problem, asked if we could have a certain table, no... More

We visited the Normandy Arms as part of a celebration meal and although I found the staff to be efficient and polite, I have had better meals in cheaper establishments. Yes the food was good and freshly cooked, and the menu had a range of choice, but not up to 'Rossette' standard. This is a popular venue and I expected... More

Great place for a celebratory meal. Food and service excellent. There was only one problem is that car parking is very limited. But would definitely recommend it.

my wife and I choose this inn because it was listed as having an AA rossette, well I am afraid the food we had was not up to Rossette standard, we had a far better meal earlier in the week at a inn which had no rossette. The "veg" with my steak was watercress, which may in fact be a... More
