The queue to eat in wasn't much different to the one for takeaway, so we opted for take away since it would move a lot faster than waiting for a table. The queue wasn't too long, the people handing out the menus were friendly and helpful with recommendations. Thoroughly enjoyed Fish and cheaps without paying over the odds for the... More

I loved the choice of fresh seafood that you cannot find in your average chippy on the seaside or home. The choices of fried Oysters, grilled Scallops, Lemon Sole, skate, etc. Price was a little bit more expnesive than your average Chip Shop but that's all part of the experience!

Every trip to Cornwall my family and I visit this takeaway at least once per holiday. Now this is a family that cooks almost every meal even when camping, this is genuinely the only takeaway we visit on holiday in Cornwall! We visited on a rainy Tuesday afternoon after wandering round Padstow. We were very hungry and instead of my... More

We’re very pleased your cod and chips were so good. August is always very busy! We have passed your comments on and will make sure we get more salt shakers. More

Fish chips battered scallop and a grill scallop served with fresh lemon absolute class. Well worth a visit, batter on the fish looked thick and heavy one mouthful later that thought had gone, so delicate and flavoursome. Can't wait to go back again next year

Normal old fish and chip. Nothing special or different about this place other than the name and the price tag. We would never normally have gone here but visiting friends down on holiday insisted. After an hours wait in the que we were seated in the restaurant . The staff member managing the que was great, very friendly and helpful.... More

We visited here whilst visiting Padstow. We had cod and chips twice and childrens cod bites and chips twice, plus drinks, oh and plus a very small pot of mushy peas!! The batter was lovely and crispy, the fish was nice albeit on the smaller side. The chips were chips! I did feel slightly pressured into eating quickly, as you... More

Yum! You might have to queue up, and pay a little more for these fish'n'chips, but you won't be disappointed. The fish is fresh, good size fillets, with lovely crunchy batter. A trip to Padstow would not be complete without experiencing this. You simply must....

We had lunch in the restaurant (wife, daughter 1 (2y.o.) daughter 2 (4 y.o.) and myself. We are lucky to live in Harpenden, where there is an award winning fish and chip shop many miles from the sea and previously lived close to legendary chippies in East London so we have a very high benchmark for what good fish and... Waited an hour for over cooked dry fish in tasteless batter with cold stale chips. Service was very slow, but the atmosphere is pretty cool.
