Called in on the off chance for dinner and the delightful and helpful staff found us a table out the back. Best choice was the cod curry, 9yo loved the chicken with pesto. Very attentive regarding our children's allergies. Nice hand cream says the missus.

We visited the cafe at lunchtime, not expecting to get a table because the town was so busy but the staff were very friendly and found a table for us straight away. Our son tried the Pad Thai Noodles which were spicy and full of flavour. The rest of us had bacon sandwiches which were tasty and filling. The atmosphere... More

If your in Padstow make sure you try and get in for Breakfast. You will have to book but its worth it. The price was good and its kid friendly and you can take your dog in if you sit outside.

We ate here last week, as a starter the tomato soup wich was grainy and had an unpleasant texture. Then we both ordered fish, 1 pretty good and the other, the seabass was dry, with a nice sauce. The simple side-order, thin fries, was apparently too difficult, first was cold, second was soggie, fat and undercooked.. Overall a dissapointing experience..

Just popped in for lunch as had a few hours kid free, amazing cod curry, service excellent. Back down to Cornwall in a couple of weeks for same table, meal and wine.

Booked a table in advance for the later sitting so we could have the table for the evening. Had the 3 course set menu, which was fully explained by the staff. It was nice to see that all waiting staff served all tables so we did not have to wait if there was a 'run' on certain areas. I thought... More

We stayed in the Courtyard room, which is the one I would recommend, very thoughtfully fitted and a lovely "Chalky's Pal" blanket for our dog, the staff were totally amazing, friendly efficient and thoughtful, always ahead of your needs. Absolutely the finest bacon sandwich we've ever had for breakfast!!!!!

This is the second time we have been to the cafe for dinner, we came a few years ago and it did not disappoint. We don't get out much for meals on our own anymore so we thought we'd make the most of the evening and order off the three course menu, we both had salt and pepper prawns with... More

7 of us went here for breakfast. The staff were most accommodating as we all had different options (some of which were not on the menu). The quality of the food was excellent, I particularly enjoyed the black pudding. I will happily return when next in Padstow

Visited Padstow for the day and Mr Stein seems to be everywhere. We hadn't booked however we gave our mobile number and they phoned us when a table was available. I had the fish goujons and husband had the steak sandwich. Both were very good. Servers were attentive and friendly. Very busy lunch time but service was prompt.
