There are a lot of places to eat in Padstow and my husband and I were struggling to decide on which restaurant to choose on our first night of a 3 night break. We looked at the menu outside Pescadou and decided to give it a try - what a good decision. I started with the cauliflower soup with blue... More

We have always walked past Pescadou during previous visits to Padstow which on reflection was such a mistake. We did not book in advance, simply 'taking a chance', but were not disappointed. The food here is fantastic!! The staff really friendly, and the restaurant very clean and comfortable. For the type of food and environment we thought it was good... More

Called in for coffee whilst in Pastow for the day. Lovely view over the harbour whilst we enjoyed good coffee and a large teacake. Food coming out of kitchen looked and smelt delicious. Next time we are in Padstow we shall look forward to trying a meal.

The town was quiet on our visit and we had a lunch on one day and dinner on another evening.. Both were excellent meals served by friendly staff.. Good wholesome food that offered good value... We had relaxed meals that were not rushed accompanied by nice wines... We can highly recommend a meal here..you won't be disappointed.

We stopped here for a Cornish cream tea and were not disappointed. The scones are amazing, the best I have ever eaten! The accompanying jam is sticky and the clotted cream, thick and cold. A fantastic combination even more so when teamed with piping hot tea. The scones I was told were from Chough Bakery in Padstow (very closely) and... More

We dined at Pescadou Restaurant on Monday 26th January for an evening meal to celebrate my partner's birthday. Our starters were the scallops which were cooked to perfection. We had Sea Bass for our main, accompanied by a side order of greens and beetroot with orange. For dessert, I ordered a chocolate tort and my partner had a crème brûlée,... More

Stayed at The Old Customs House and we decided to give the Pescadou a try. We weren't disappointed in the slightest. Scallops cooked perfectly and the king prawns were beautifully presented. Main courses of Sea Bass and Hake - again perfectly cooked and excellent portion size. The staff were friendly and attentive......all in all, a great experience. Will definitely return... More

We stay in Padstow several times a year and always comment "we must try that place one day". My husband and I have just returned from a lovely long weekend away for my birthday and he treated us to a meal at Pescadou on Sunday. We only came away with one one grumble - why didn't we go there before.... More
