Excellent Restaurant - Great Food!

We came here to celebrate the end of our holiday in Padstow, like a previously reviewer mentioned - Make sure you book before you go! We were a party of 6 and 1 toddler, the restaurant catered for the child perfectly - providing colours for them as soon as we arrived. The meal I had tasted... read more

St petroc's style is all explained in their name. The food is straight forward served in a Bistro environment ie no table cloths and helpful staff who don't fuss about. I went for scallops with hints of chilly and got 3 scallops served in their shells . All delightfully cooked with a touch of spice, lovely For main again fish... More

Pre booked one month ago then after reading the reviews on here was apprehensive as they were mixed, all I can say is last night was very very nice, service from the staff especially Beth was fantastic, food was amazing especially the baked scallops as were all our choices. All served with professionalism and expediently. Will definitely be booking again,... More

We decided to visit Padstow this holiday and was glad we pre- booked our restaurants. St.Petroc's was very busy but the staff were very friendly, the choice on menu was good with both fish ( which you would expect) and meat. I was disappointed that having booked we were not offered a better table however our meal was good

This cheaper of the Rick Stein's restaurants in Padstow is absolutely great but not as impressive as the flag ship. It is priced very fairly with a great menu and very nice staff.

Food was amazing, service was excellent. I arrived and promptly had a massive coughing fit - was presented with a glass of water without even asking. Staff were knowledgeable and delightful, and my husband's steak was one of the best I have tasted for a very long time. Will definitely go back if we are ever in Padstow again.

The food was excellent, I had scallops which were so tasty , and for main I shared chateaubriand with my husband and we both enjoyed it , for desert my husband had cheese and biscuits & I had crumble ,... The ambience and decor are first class. All staff are very friendly and helpful. There is not a very wide selection on the menu but everything we ordered (4 of us) was well presented and enjoyed. This hotel and bistro is in Rick Stein's stable and the quality shows. It's definitely on the expensive side but well worth a visit... More

We were in Padstow for a one night stay not here though. Booking for a table wasn't a problem at short notice for 6.30pm. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Less expensive menu only available for lunch time. Be warned the cost starts to add up with everything ordered. Not good value for the food or presentation, which was seriously lacking.... More
