With regret not everything Steiny is shiny in Padstow… We pondered St Petroc's Bistro last year and sadly ran out of holiday time dine there. Heading back this August we booked ahead and were looking forward to something special. The bad news first… St Petroc's is very noisy indeed! A wooden floor, walls and a low ceiling amplify each and... More

We have previously dined at The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow which was fabulous & so we decided on this trip to Cornwall we would book into St Petrocs. We arrived 20 minutes early as we were staying an hour away, to allow for traffic. When we arrived at the restaurant (not expecting to be sat at our table, but with... More

The staff at the Bistro were excellent: consistently attentive and determined that we should have a good time. The rump steak was one of the best that I have get had. The atmosphere was warm, calm and friendly. Thoroughly recommended!

Went for my birthday for Sunday lunch as a table of 8. Mackeral starter was fantastic followed by great beef. The restaurant was light and airy , and the staff were very friendly and attentive. A great afternoon out, and certainly not over-priced for the quality offered. Highly recommended.

Along with The Seafood Restaurant, St Petroc's Bistro was one of our reasons for going to Padstow and we weren't disappointed. We started our meal with scallops and a terrine, both of which were most acceptable. The chateaubriand we ordered for our main course was delicious and perfectly cooked. Our desserts of sticky toffee pudding and a baked chocolate mousse... More

After a very stressful week on our holiday in Cornwall sadly (broken arm/attacked by wasps nest!!) we were determined to make our booking at the Bistro for our penultimate night. We weren't disappointed. We were so well taken care of and looked after by all the staff especially by our main waitress, she couldn't have been kinder or sympathetic to... More

Went here in the height of summer with our son, the food was good but very pricy and not really a great choice for children , staff pleasant and a good location and nice interior but really paying for the name

When on holiday it's good to find a high quality restaurant that is good for the whole family. My kids had grilled fish and chips which they loved. The waitress was particularly helpful in keeping them entertained while we waited for our food. I had a beautifully cooked stone bass in a butter sauce. My wife steak was delicious although... More

St Petroc's Bistro is one of the best restaurants in Padstow. Atmospheric and buzzing on the night we visited...and full to capacity, which says it all. Not overpriced...considering its reputation. The food was delicious and the service great...a must when in Padstow.

Would definitely return to this restaurant if in Padstow again. Great menu, beautifully prepared, tasty food, very attentive friendly staff who even arranged for a member of staff to provide a lift back to our hotel due to the local taxi driver not being available. A lovely evening.
