Nice pub, very old-fashioned but I like that about a pub. Large range of beers to choose from, would have been better had they had the open fire lit!

We were staying at the excellent Cally Croft B & B and did not want to eat at one of the premier restaurants (of which there are several) so we opted for a simple Fish and Chips at The London Inn. The plate was filled to overflowing with a wonderfully fresh and beautifully cooked whole fish. The atmosphere was typically... More

Went in for a pint last week and enjoyed it. The fire was going when we came in and managed to get a seat next to it to warm us up. Managed a few pints before we left and felt welcome whilst we were in there. The pub is small so can imagine it being busy in summer but the... More

Places like this should survive for evermore as it is a piece of history worth preserving. It is in time warp and draws all of us in when we visit Padstow It has a great selection of beers and bar food at good prices and although pretty small and cramped at times it all adds to the atmosphere of the... Fairly busy on a Monday night. Plenty of fishy options on the main menu and specials board. Main meal was good, desserts seemed microwaved but were alright.

If you like your watering holes all glitz & glamour with style over substance then please pass this place by. If you like a real proper pub with good food and good beers, then you will not be disappointed. Old pubs are a joy and this one I am sure has many a tale to tell if only the walls... More

Ate here on our first evening in Padstow. Traditional pub with limited menu – there is a restaurant / dining area but as it was quite when we visited we ate in the main part of the pub. Ordered the fish & chips and steak – good-sized portions, hot and tasty with quick service. Couldn’t fault overall – decent pub... More

This definitely has the feel of a traditional pub with lots of beers on offer. The pub isn't the biggest in the world but it's small and cosy. Also features live sport on telly. We didn't eat but the food that came out looked good and claimed to use locally sourced ingredients where possible. Accept children in the rear room... More

One of the best pubs in Padstein. Good old fashioned boozer. Friendly staff and locals. Often have live music.

A good old traditional Pub that serves a pleasing range of Beers and has an impressive Menu of locally sourced dishes. My Wife and I went for the traditional Fish and Chips. A massive Meal - Epic proportions. Beautiful battered Cod with a wide range of sides. Perhaps one of the largest portions of this great British Classic that I... More
