Lovely afternoon here on the 15th January

We spent a fantastic afternoon here on the 15th by the fire reading papers and drinking a few beers. Something we don't get much time to do when we have the family with us. The London Inn is a proper pub and doesn't pretend to be anything else.

Stopped in around lunchtime but they were not serving meals which was disappointing. The beer was cold and the young lady behind the Bar was very pleasant and apologetic. Nice pub with lots of memorabilia around the rooms.

What better place to have a get together before Christmas a proper locals pub with great food . I had steak which was melt in the mouth tender and a huge portion. There was some music 🎶 a friendly atmosphere and nice to enjoy some time with locals as we all work so hard in tourism time. Highly recommended for... More

Popped in here for a quick bite during the Padstow Christmas Festival. Old school pub, very welcoming and comfortable. Great range of ales. Food was basic and acceptable - mackerel pate (not enough toast) and a BLT baguette (have had much better) - service was slow but I suspect this as more to do with how busy Padstow was when... More

Very helpful, amusing guy in charge at lunchtime. We nabbed the last crab sandwiches available. Fresh as a daisy, and the house Chardonnay was excellent. A fun lunch in an untouristy pub.
