The best part of our visit to Padstow. Friendly staff and accommodating towards young children, this place offers the best coffee, tea and deserts around. Fabulous Cornish cream teas and cakes

We tried here for breakfast but were disappointed as all the tables were taken. After having a lovely bike ride we tried again for cake - this time we were lucky. The cakes were really tasty and worth waiting for. The staff were very nice and service was quick even though it was very busy. Would recommend a visit.

It is at times like this I didn't care about my weight but I have to say the coffee and cake are really worth it - roulade and carrot cake made a bit of a pig of myself

If Cherrytrees was open in the evenings, I don't think I'd bother going anywhere else in Padstow. We ate here five times during the same week for lunch and afternoon tea, and all I can say is nom, nom, nom! The only problem here is deciding what to have from the menu or the specials board and if you've got... More

Stumbled across this little place by chance - loved everything about it from the friendly lady who showed us to our table to the absolutely gorgeous cream teas we both had. The scones were warm and delicious, the jam high quality and the clotted cream tasted perfect (complete with strawberry on top). Presentation was lovely too. We didn't have room... More

A regular haunt for us in Padstow, this little cafe on the quayside offers delicious home made cakes, snacks, light meals and cream teas. The menu offers original ideas which make a refreshing change from the same old stuff you see everywhere. The small dining room is open at the front and thus has an airy feel and has a... More

We visited Padstow, we live in North Devon, and decided to take our relatives for an afternoon trip. Having visited Padstow before and also eaten in The Cherry Trees, we decided to have tea and cake, the cake was lovely and service very good., however, a word of warning to those who like sufficient cream as the amount served is... We visited this little coffee shop twice during our holiday last week. The first time, we went in for tea and cake. The cakes were absolutely gorgeous and such a choice. It was so good, we went back for brunch the next day. The bubble and squeak with ham hock was to die for. The staff were all friendly and... More
