Lovely lunch

We thought it was only right to review the old tea house as we had a fantastic lunch, the food and service were both excellent. They even accommodated the child's request for variations of their menu. All in all a lovely lunch, same time next year ladies!

We were on our way home after a couple of nights near Wadebridge and fancied a snack before the journey, we spotted this tea shop and popped in, Perfect welcome from a lovely lady, I noticed how spotlessly clean everything was, the menu has something for everyone, Tea in a pot with lovely large tea leaves grown locally which you... We stumbled upon The Old Tea Shop following a morning ride on a tandem to Bodmin & back (!). It is attractive from the outside, the welcome & service inside are equally as good. The food is simple, but freshly made & very tasty; this is certainly a place we will return to (perhaps after the Wadebridge - Padstow leg... More

I visited here for a cup of tea and cake. Good selection of tea's. We went with the Tregothnan leaf tea. The pretty china cups and saucers were a nice touch. Service was good and we were asked if we would like more water for our teapot after we ran out. Would return again. Defiantly improved with the new owners.

On a recent trip to Wadebridge, Cornwall popped into The Old Tea House for a light lunch. WHat a lovely surprise from the last time I was there earlier in the year. It had new owners and had been totally refurbished, so clean and fresh, and the array of gorgeous homemade cakes and scones made your mouth water. The staff... More

A favourite of mine, the carrot cake is one of the nicest I have had before, very tasty and moist with lovely walnuts on top! Served alongside a one-shot latte, one of the many drinks on offer, The Old Tea House is the perfect place to relax and catch up with friends, offering a very warm and cosy welcome.
