We recently visited our friends locallly and on one of our recent 'pilgrimages' to Wadebridge. wasn't the least suprised to see The Tea shop has closed down. There has been a large influx in Wadebridge of Cafes/eating establishments and it takes a lot to compete with such high quality opposition, and it was obvious on our last visit that it... More

I come here with my mum often. The crab is always fantastic when they have it in, and the iced coffee is just beautiful :) I recommend this for families for a quick afternoon treat, but be aware that it is a very snug place, so seating is a little limited! But don't let that put you off, it's really... More

Great tea, great cake, fabulous setting, never visit Truro without making this my first stop in. Not the cheapest cuppa in town, but easily the best and oh so elegant

I was in town visiting family and had some friends visit from London, they were wanting cream tea but were looking at places that I wouldn't recommend for a cream tea! I brought them here and we all loved it! The cream tea my friend had was served up on a vintage tea plate and the rest of the party... More

Quaint tea shop which delivers on all levels. Whether your after lunch or afternoon tea there's something to choose from. With quality local produce, the food is scrumptious and the cakes are a must! Staff are friendly and there's a cosy atmosphere.

Just had a light lunch in this delightful teashop. We were served by three different servers during our stay and all of them were friendly and welcoming, and obviously seemed to care that our experience was good. The food was excellent and the coffee was very good. We have been to this establishment before and would not hesitate to return.... More

We had eaten here before & been very satisfied, & as we were in Wadebridge & hungry decided to stop again. It was just coming up to lunchtime, & whilst fairly busy there were several tables available. Having waited 10 minutes, no one had come to the table so we went to the counter & asked for the lunch menu... More

There is nothing one could possibly criticise. Wonderful choices of loose leaf tea in old fashioned tea pots with vintage cups, saucers and plates. A tea strainer appears on the tray together with extra hot water, and slices of lemon if requested is not a problem. The sandwiches are packed to brimming, with a choice of breads and wonderful old... More
