Just had a light lunch in this delightful teashop. We were served by three different servers during our stay and all of them were friendly and welcoming, and obviously seemed to care that our experience was good. The food was excellent and the coffee was very good. We have been to this establishment before and would not hesitate to return.... More

We had eaten here before & been very satisfied, & as we were in Wadebridge & hungry decided to stop again. It was just coming up to lunchtime, & whilst fairly busy there were several tables available. Having waited 10 minutes, no one had come to the table so we went to the counter & asked for the lunch menu... More

There is nothing one could possibly criticise. Wonderful choices of loose leaf tea in old fashioned tea pots with vintage cups, saucers and plates. A tea strainer appears on the tray together with extra hot water, and slices of lemon if requested is not a problem. The sandwiches are packed to brimming, with a choice of breads and wonderful old... More

It's charm is that it is not too large so you really do feel welcome. The added bonus is that the staff are all local so you... More

Visited this tea shop yesterday, wonderful to have real china cups and saucers, a teapot, loose tea in the pot and fresh flowers on the table. Staff very friendly and quick service. Noticed quite a few locals there, always a good sign. When customers had left, staff cleared the tables very promptly and wiped the table ready for the next... More

Our 1st visit to Wadebridge for ages and due to the wet weather decided to stop for coffee and cake . I thought I had visited "the tea shop" before and I was not disappointed as we were welcomed by friendly staff . No problem to have decaff which I enjoyed with a lovely moist slice of carrot cake !... More
