Solid no nonsense grub

We were walking around Wadebridge on a rather grey day and feeling in need of some comfort food. After a piping hot large plate of steak pie and chips, we were replete. The pie was nice and meaty with a crisp shortcrust pastry. We were pleased to see that the cook was generous with the gravy too... read more

Ordered 2 sandwiches at 12.58 - 1 arrived at 13.32and the other at 13.40. They looked good - but did not realise the service would be so slow, so had to leave. We were the only people eating so it was not because the kitchen was busy.

Lovely little tea shop, extremely friendly and welcoming. Food excellent and very fast service. Highly recommend the bacon brie and cranberry sandwich and the Spanish omelette oh and the hot chocolate was fab too.

A group of us went to The Granary for "brunch" whilst in Wadebridge. The staff were very friendly and looked after us well despite the restaurant being very busy, food was fantastic and well presented. Will definitely return!

Visited with a few friends for lunch, staff are welcoming and polite. Delays on our food and some of the food was not at a great standard. Slightly over priced but cannot complain about the members of staff.

As far as cosy Cornish cafés go, the granary is among the best. The dishes consist of great ingredients and fantastic portions. There is also a very good range of dishes on offer to satisfy whatever mood you're in. I love their roasts, which I recommend. Their coffee is great and you are offered drinks often enough which is great.... More

We were so pleased with the granary that we broke with tradition and had a meal in the same place during our holiday! It is easy to find off the short pedestrian street in Wadebridge. Breakfast was reasonably priced, there was a fair selection and it was served quickly by pleasant staff. It is popular with locals (always a good... More

It was reasonably busy, but we were served very quickly and the food arrived very quickly. It's not cheap, but not over the top either. Overall very good.
