I highly recommend this restaurant in sleepy Wadebridge. It concentrates on offering a concise menu of dishes cooked to perfection. We visited twice within 4 days on 17 and 20 August so were able to try a range of dishes (but not desserts as we don't eat them). Everything was excellent on both occasions and the very friendly and efficient... More

We visited on a weekday evening for a family meal at the end of a holiday. Having read the reviews, I was very pleasantly surprised by the obvious enthusiasm of other diners as we arrived, by the excellent service from the young lady looking after our table, by the attractiveness of the menu and, most of all, by the delicious... The Bridge Bistro is conveniently located in the centre of Wadebridge in what externally appears to have once been a chapel. However, once inside it has a modern decor and quiet ambiance. The servers were welcoming and moderately knowledgeable about the menu and wines. My wife ate Thai Mussels which was a new and interesting experience whilst I enjoyed the... More

My partner and I were taking her Mum put for the day and we decided to venture down the A39 to Wadebridge and walked around the town before looking for somewhere suitable for sunday lunch. This restaurant looked inviting and proved to be a really good experience. The decor is very contemporary and everything looks clean and fresh and the... More

I eat regularly at the Bistro (seems to be at least weekly!) and Phil the chef never dissapoints. I booked my car club in and they coped very well with 24 hungry people. Last Saturday I booked a table for six as it was Carnival night (we had been marshalls) and despite a busy restaurant again the food was excellent.... More

Went for friend's birthday dinner recently. Menu offered a good selection to choose from. Food was very good. However, a little over seasoned on some things for my taste. Delicious vanilla and raspberry creme brulee. Cocktails were yummy too.

Staying in the area and saw reviews before coming so thought we try it for a nice evening out. The menu was quite limited but this was no bad thing for us. A sign that they cook a few dishes to a high quality, this was the case. Rarely do we order the same food but did on this occasion.... More

Popped in for a coffee late morning. Really friendly service and good quality coffee at a very reasonable price. Kids enjoyed the wooden 3D noughts and crosses game. It's in the window at the entrance.

Was staying away for weekend , dropped in and didn't book on Saturday, was able to accommodate us. Tables were a little. Too close together and didn't allow for very much privacy, they should balance this with trying not to pack too many customers , especially when the tables on the lower level were empty. Had to wait and ask... More
