I booked a table for 2 on Saturday night. On arrival we were shown to a table that could only be described as in the hall way next to the main door from the street to the restaurant. We spoke to our waitress and asked if there were any other tables available as the restaurant appeared to be approximately one... More

I have taken the time to phone the gentleman that has written the above review and apologised. A series of unfortunate events meant that on this occasion we really were unable to offer a different table, any unoccupied tables had actually been requested by those dining with us on the evening. Coupled with this there were no tables due to... More

This is a very good atmospheric place. They do very good breakfasts out of season, (a bit strange that this isn't consistent). The food is good but pricy for what it is. I think burgers are around £12-£14 mark and ice cream sundaes nearly £7, the bill was a bit much for food, beers and ice cream, but overall nice

Thank you for taking the time to review the Bistro and we are really pleased you enjoyed the atmosphere and food at Bridge Bistro. We are sorry that you felt it was a bit expensive, just to clarify the Burger is £11.95, the burger patty is homemade on site by our chef, as is the relish they come with, they... More

This family run restaurant takes a lot of beating. Living locally, we have tried all the various eateries around and can say that Bridge Bistro never fails to deliver on both service and well cooked food. It's not pretentious, just a good bistro menu that they do very well. The new American "diner-style" booths are fun to enjoy with friends.

The Bridge has undergone a large expansion since last visit. Menu continues to be pricey, but general standard Ok. We had monkfish in Parma ham. Rather dry, sauce was bland and certainly needed to be more 'fishy'. At £17 a disappointment. Desserts as ever top marks - wonderful lemon posset and the huge ice cream sundaes were a great hit.... We read some of the reviews and thought we would try for ourselves We had mussels and fish cake to start then the goats cheese and caramelise onion tart tatin and lemon sole fillet to follow we had the lemon posset and raspberry sundae which all was excellent and we couldn't fault the service. We also saw the steak board... More

We've just returned from a family holiday to Wadebridge where we visited the Bridge Bistro on two occasions because the first time the food was so good we all agreed we wanted to return and finish our holiday on a high note. I visited the Bridge Bistro for my birthday celebration.. with 4 of my girfriends and were advised that we would have around half hour to wait, we didn't think this was too long and then we were asked if we would like to order some Olives, bread etc... and as nine of us were having starters we did so. However... More

Spent the last week of June at Wadebridge on a family holiday and went for a evening meal at the Bridge Bistro. Interesting and unusual building, nicely turned out and friendly reception/service. Food generally was good but the big no-no has to be the horrible fad of serving steaks on wooden boards, from a distance the servers entrance bearing your... More
