Driving up to Bude, looking for a place to eat, found The Quarryman, and had a good meal. Bar staff were chatty and had a laugh. Oh, and Liverpool won 5-4 which helped... I'm trying to add a photo, but it doesn't want to attach itself

We rang up at short notice for a table of 8 and were quickly accomodated. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, especially with the children who enjoyed having their own table. The cataplana house speciality was a triumph and reminded me of sunny days in Portugal. Generous portions and the kids really enjoyed the selection of puddings, especially the... More

This is the place to come if a good quality steak is on your mind , it never ceases to amaze me how often both pubs and restaurants get it so wrong and yet the quarryman always hits it right for a good quality value for money meal, we often don't book and they don't seem to mind children, perhaps because... It was a relief that after going to the Quarryman on a recommendation for a good steak, we were not disappointed. A great T-Bone for me and a lovely fillet for the good lady. A nice atmosphere with good attentive staff.....loved it

We visited The Quarryman last night to find a large group of people at the bar who were loath to let us even get to the bar and past them to get to our table. The table we had reserved was amongst this group who had got very loud and we asked to be able to sit on the quieter... More

This lovely pub is just 2 minutes of the main road into Wadebridge and well worth a visit. The pub side is dog friendly and there were plenty that visited. I ate three times in my week away and the food was plentiful, piping hot and delicious. The sizzling rump steak was to die for. Also popped for the odd... More

We stayed in one of the adjoining cottages and to have this pub on the doorstep was beyond a bonus. We have a 1 and 4 year old and all of us were made to feel incredibly welcome by both staff and the locals. The beer selection, for real ale lovers, was excellent. The food was fresh and delicious and... More

Love the Quarryman. A good selection of traditional food (think steak, ham, pies, baguettes etc) but really well done with friendly staff. Big portions

We visited here after seeing fantastic reveiws to end our minimoon here in cornwall. Its safe to say we were not disappointed, as soon as we walked in we were given a gorgeous little table in the window and a drink for both of us before we even sat down. The food was absolutley stunning and I would highly reccommend... More
