The Lobster Shack was shut (end of season) so the family needed food in a hurry. This restaurant/cafe/ B&B was just up the road from the sea life centre/harbour. Walked past at and it was busy and looked clean/inviting so we decided to give it a go. We sat outside as we had a dog. The service was great and... More

Very nicely appointed with very good servcie and food. First real dinner in this area and a great start to thinking food generally in Scotland is excellent.

We were looking for a light meal after a day of golf. We stumbled upon this restaurant and were attracted by its open front and clean looking interior. The staff was really friendly and hospitable and the owner came over to ask if we enjoyed our meal. The Cullen Skink soup was quite tasty and the desserts mouth watering. The... More

Breakfast is a must, excellent value. Staff are very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Will be trying an evening meal too as their menu catered for everyone's needs.

We went in the early evening for a family meal. As it turned out we all wanted burgers. The salad was lovely and the home made coleslaw was delicious. The staff were delightful with the kids and could not be more helpful.

This restaurant has just reopened as Signals Bistro. It has had an extensive make over and looks great especially the train that runs round the roof. There were 2 of us and we had an excellent meal. I got speaking the new owners who told me most of the staff were new but despite that the service was excellent. Would... More

I can only make comment on the bacon rolls, but these are the yummiest I have ever had! Also as a regular they give us a wee discount. At less then £2.00 a roll (full price) you can't complain. I have no idea what they do to the bacon or the roll but its yum!

The second time I've visited this place and the first experience wasn't great, though the Cullen Skink soup was delicious so I though I'd give it a second try. Arrived at 2.15pm on a rainy, windy Sunday afternoon with my wife, 2 young children and teenage son. We we're freezing cold and hungry... and glad to be out of the... More

Stopped here for lunch, not expecting a lot, but the cullen skink and smoked salmon ciabatta were both superb and excellent value. My Illy double espresso wasn't hot, or it would have been 5 stars.

We stopped in for lunch after visiting the Scottish Seabird Centre on a day's outing to lovely North Berwick. Whilst we agree with previous reviews that the menu is small we both enjoyed our fish (breaded), tasty chips and side salad. The service was reasonable and the meal fair value. The surroundings were a bit basic but fine for lunch... More
