Great little cafe with fresh cakes and coffee

On the seafront in Wells, friendly staff, good coffee and really tasty cakes. Nice place for tea after a walk on the beach.

My wife always insists on on coffee from a well know big brand, but declared the coffee in the Wells Deli the"Best Ever". I am not a coffee drinker but since drinking coffee in the Deli we keep going back for more. We have had breakfast and various snacks in there and they are superb. So much so we have... More

Over the course of a four night break my partner and I ate breakfast here on three occasions. My partner tried, and stuck with, porridge each morning, proclaiming it to be absolutely delicious. I had a bacon bap on brioche initially, switching to a fruit granola with yoghurt - both of which, whilst very different, were equally enjoyable. On each... More

Stopped there today for a coffee and snack while visiting Wells-next-to-sea. Has a great feel and atmosphere, staff where really friendly and the place is clean and beautifully decorated. This place doesn't really stand out amongst the seafront shops etc, but do go in and experience the place. It can get busy around lunchtime, so do be patient, admire the cakes in the display cabinet while you wait! You can sit in or take away, staff are polite and friendly.

February in Wells next the sea....bitter cold. My daughter and family decided to brave the elements and walk along the front, I saw this charming place and thought I would have a latte instead, what a good choise, the peanut cake was pretty good too...then my daughter arrived for a chocolate (with eveything) shortly followed by my son-in-law and grandaughter... We stumbled upon this great little find before heading to the beach which boasts of 211 beach huts! Warmed by a creamy latte and lemon muffin, we enjoyed the atmosphere and comfortable sofa. Upon returning from the beach, we looked for a place that we could go to for lunch. Being out of season, there was little choice so we... More

This Deli is right by the quay. Very popular for tea and cakes. Really busy on Sundays. Chocolate cake, yummy. You can just get a Normal coffee as well as the lattes etc. The wi fi is really good and the password is on the receipt. Staff really nice and efficient and the cafe has lovely comfy sofas and chairs.... More

We took refuge here on Boxing Day when visiting with Son and two children after crabbing on the quay. A warm greeting awaited us and we enjoyed lovely coffee and cake. Well furnished with games for the children it was an oasis in cold cold weather
