We had a good meal here, with friendly staff and a good range of beers! Service was quick and we found it good value.

Just back from a 3 night stay - accommodation in the converted barn at the back of the pub is very comfortable, quiet and good facilities. Very good breakfasts and choice of food in the evenings, lovely friendly staff.

This is a quaint little pub, situated directly opposite the parish church. We wanted a light bite at lunchtime, and really enjoyed their home-made carrot, coriander and coconut soup which was among the reasonably good range of vegetarian options. The place was quiet when we visited, without loud background music, making conversation possible. Staff were friendly, and service prompt. There... More

Small, character pub. Excellent atmosphere with lots of local people. Food was very good, good choice on the menu board. Prices reasonable for standard of food. Very good vegetarian choice for me! They allow dogs which wasn't so good for me but is somewhere dog lovers can take their dog if they want to.

Visited here last week and we had not booked a table. Although it was mid week it was very busy but within 5 mins we had a table reserved. We both choose the pork steak with mustard mash and spinach and mushroom sauce. It was really delicious and if you are in Wells certainly worth a visit.

Either book in advance or arrive early! This pub fills up very quickly & it is not difficult to see why. The food & drink is superb & it is excellent value for money. We visited twice in our four night stay in Wells, & were not disappointed at all. I always look forward to re-visiting - will see you... More

Called in 'on spec' over a busy Bank Holiday weekend. The delightfully friendly and efficient staff served us quickly with an exceptional meal - expertly cooked and presented, along with an excellent bottle of wine. The decor and ambience is first class and we would have no hesitation in making a 5 star recommendation. The biggest surprise of all? The... More

We visited with friends for a bank holiday weekend visit to Wells Next The Sea and we picked this restaurant for Sunday Lunch, based on feedback on Tripadvisor and we couldn't have picked a better place. A great place, food was really well cooked and presented, all courses, and the drinks were also really good, well kept beer
