We sat on the boat enjoying our Dutch savoury pancakes which were huge and very delicious, we had a bee and went for a walk and returned to have sweet pancakes with maple syrup, very good prices they also have accommodation on the boat.

mmmm - well, the kids love the idea of having a pancake on a boat so that's why we went again this year. What a shame they forgot our booking and seated is in a corner. They did this last year too. Treated myself to a glass of prosecco - such a shame it was flat. Prosecco just not prosecco... More

Having forgotten our booking, even though written in the restaurant diary (& we weren't the only family this happened too that night) we then waited an hour for food. Such a shame as the children crazed to eat on a boat but were quite bored and tired by the time the food arrived..in stages and not even at the same... More

Pancakes and omelettes lovely. Quirky and something different to your usual cafe or restaurant. Don't expect fine dining just good tasty snacks and drinks. Kids loved it but be observant if your health and safety conscious as loads of uneven surfaces.

Eager to please staff. Wonderful views across the creek. Variety of toppings for the pancakes. Don't expect luxury but it's an experience not to be missed.

Had a fantastic evening aboard - excellent ale very reasonably priced. Very much enjoyed sitting on deck listening to the band whilst watching the sun go down and the boats come into the harbour. Will visit again.

With a location like this it is clearly not going to be a wasted afternoon/evening on board. Assuming you can get a table or at least somewhere to perch (I think the do bookings, but seemed flustered when someone arrived having made one) then its easy to spend some time here. There was a beer festival at the time of... More

Went to Wells-next-the-sea for the first time last weekend on a sunny day. First thing you see is this huge sail moored up by the main carpark. We ordered pancakes and the view was great, we waited and watched the tides go out. Service was ok, pancakes were big and yummy. I recommend it, it's a fun experience.
