Lovely friendly atmosphere.

Lovely tea rooms. Everything is freshly made to a high standard and not too expensive. Really enjoyed my visit here. Love the embroidered table cloths and the vintage crockery. Helpful and friendly staff. This would not be everyone's 'cup of tea' as the staircase to the upper floor and toilet is... read more

Lovely big pot of tea, freshly made omelette full of cheese and nice fresh side salad too. Very tasty and pleasant staff. Steep stairs to upper floor but its an old building, its part of the charm. Lovely dining area downstairs along with tempting display of cakes.

Afternoon Tea for 2, cost twenty pounds, food was just about ok, handful of quavers had been placed next to the sandwiches on the cake stand, very strange . Crockery and cutlery needed a good hot wash. Place did not smell of freshly baked cakes. All in all not a pleasant experience.

We treated ourselves to an afternoon tea. We were told the usual sandwich fillings and they offered to swap fillings if we wanted (we didn't as the choices of smoked salmon and cream cheese, cheese and pickle and ham and mustard ticked all the boxes). We then had the choice of scone and a choice of cake. It was all... More

We have used Florence's café on many occasions, usually at lunchtimes or mid afternoon. The food and cakes are all freshly prepared with varied choices to suit everyone's palette and pocket. Highly recommend the afternoon cream teas.

On a recent trip to Kings Lynn we wandered into The Florence Cafe to a warm and friendly greeting, amazing choice of tea and lovely cakes. All at very reasonable price. The staff were warm and friendly and the cakes really home made, in fact a Victoria Sponge was in the process of being cooked! I can recommend the Orange... More

Wow when entered the shop it had that quirky tea room feeling which was really lovely. The welcome was fantastic,we were shone to our table, which we chose. We ordered our teas etc. well when the tea turned up it was a nice tea pot size about three cups. Better than the other shops that only give you 1 or... More

Met a friend here for a coffee and chat. Sat outside and ate cake. Really lovely. It was quiet and staff were polite and attentive. Really enjoyed our visit. Gluten free brownie, very nice.

We visited the Florence twice during our time in Kings Lynn, the food was lovely - it was freshely prepared and homemade a quality frequently not seen in many chain or independent cafes. They had a good selection of loose leaf tea which is a pleasure to enjoy, i recommend the rose pouchong particularly if you like Turkish delight! The... More
