A hidden Norfolk gem.

This place is very quaint with a traditional old english cafe feel to it with a extensive selection of teas. A welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff.

It's been a while since we've had the chance to visit Florence's, a café that opened a few weeks before we moved to King's Lynn and served as a regular lunchtime destination for many pre-childhood Saturdays. (Whilst I'm sure that the owners would happily accommodate our rather lively 5-year-old, I fear that we may spoil the ambience for others!) The... More

A really nice place for lunch. Food was home cooked and served beautifully by friendly staff. Good menu and very reasonably priced. Cosy and clean surroundings. Will go again.

I had gluten free carrot cake and cherry scone - Wow!! so delicious ! The two ladies who ( I guess ) owns the place are so sweet and friendly. Really great place to enjoy tea or coffee with beautifully made cakes .

We often drop in to Florence's Cafe, usually at lunchtime - there's always home made soup, a roll and butter, but as it's all prepared to order, you can have a variation of what's on the menu. Cheese scones are "as grandma used to bake". Tip - try the "cake pieces", tasters for the cake sold whole (some cakes are... More

I don't know what makes this an excellent place, I think it must just be the whole package. Occasionally we get given things which weren't quite what we'd asked for but, well, if you often enough it's bound to happen! Good food, good selection of cakes, teas, good atmosphere. We keep going back.

This is my second review of Florence Cafe, having been visiting them since 2010 ish. I probably visit once every couple of months. I have found the service and food to be consistently very good. Particularly the amazing cakes. I can't leave without taking one of their generous cakes slabs away! It is such a lovely, family run local business.... More

This a small friendly tea house set over many floor levels. The decor is 'shabby chic', but delightful and comfortable. You will be sure of a warm welcome, good quality food and service.
