Excellent service and amazing food. The smoked duck starter was a first for me - incredible flavours matched perfectly with beetroot. Fish cooked to perfection accompanied by local samphire. Finished with one of Angela's incredible puddings !! Good home cooked food !! A perfect end to our holiday.

I visited the Moorings on a Thursday evening with friends. Although the restaurant was pretty busy, the service was exemplary; everyone was friendly and accommodating and our order came through very quickly. The food was outstanding... I highly recommend the seared tuna: impeccable. All of the others who dined with me were equally as happy with their meals. The deserts... More

Blakeney is always an adventure, so in that spirit we decided to explore, and this Waball was sent an hour ahead to find a table, accessible from a one-in-six High St. 'Yes, there is a table for you,' Angela said, 'and if I put that booking over there, I can offer you the table here, which is more accessible'. 'Level... More

Had a crab salad with new potatoes as a side £9.95 for the salad, £2.75 for the side, which I probably didn't need as the salad came with THE most delicious organic whole meal bread, it was absolutely gorgeous and I am not a big bread fan! The lunch was very tasty, great salad, nicely presented and very filling. I... More

We regularly holiday in North Norfolk and always eat at The Moorings. Fantastic setting and decor, very friendly staff and most importantly amazing food! This time was no exception. I had the Rabbit to start and my wife had the Scallops, both delicious. My wife was disappointed that the usual Lobster wasn't on the specials but enjoyed the Hake instead... More

We went to this restaurant after a long walk to Blakeney point and so had worked up a good appetite. It's small and popular so we had booked a table. We arrived a bit early having been to the nice pub across the road for a drink. Alas they had trouble finding our booking and as we were early we... More

Made a last minute booking at The Moorings, for my wife and two young boys. The restaurant although fully booked managed to squeeze us in early so they could accommodate us. The food was great, inventive well presented and the portions ample. They provided a high chair for my three year old and plastic cutlery all laid up prior to... More

Have had numerous lunches here, however, have just tried their evening menu. This was again superb, the sea bass was delicious and my dining companions both enjoyed the pork. All freshly prepared and beautifully presented by staff who were both gracious, welcoming and efficient. Great little eaterie!

We went as a family of six, including two grandchildren. It opens at 6 in the evening which is good if you have children. The restaurant is quite small, but bright & airy, really nice. Menu is quite broad, appreciated as none of the adults eats meat. The fish was a choice of sea trout, sea bass, hake or tuna.... More

Popped in for a drink and a great choice of fresh cakes, warm and friendly staff. Recommend for a place to enjoy in the day and an inviting menu for their evening meal offering.
