So glad we tried this restaurant!

A truly wonderful restaurant, light and airy inside with wonderful food. Not cheap, but well worth the money!

This is a pretty place to stop for a bite to eat - good alternative if you don't want the pub. We stopped for lunch in the summer and were impressed - it is advisable to book during any reasonably busy period. The staff were jolly and seemed genuinely pleased to help you. The food was fresh and very tasty.... More

Had a lovely light lunch following a walk on the marshes. It was excellent . We noticed others eating full lunches and they looked very appetising . The views over the marshes are stunning.

3 friends ending our holiday in North Norfolk with a bump into this lovely restaurant for lunch, promptly seated and offered menus and offered drinks. My 2 friends and l love eating out and when we find an impromptu new find are very happy, a delicious fish soup and a crab terrine started our journey accompanied with a beautiful Spanish... More

We decided to try this restaurant after reading the good reviews on Tripadvisor and I wasn't disappointed. Really nice small restaurant close to the sea and close to the seal-trip boats. Unfortunately during winter months this restaurant is open just few days per week (the weekend if I'm not wrong). The decorations are minimal but they give the right sea... More

A simply decorated bistro style but with the most fabulous menus. Everything cooked to order. Probably the best venison I have ever tasted, yet simply and beautifully pan fried and tender. Desserts to murder for. Almost did not want to write this in case we don't get a table next time we visit

Popped in after visiting the seals and had an exceptionally good lunch - which meant we skimped on dinner. The fish soup and chowder were both superb and I had an incredibly tasty chicken dish. We were so happy we decided to have a dessert that we really didn’t have room for and plumped for sticky toffee pudding; my one... More

This is a relatively small (50 covers) restaurant in a small village, so we weren't expecting much. The decor is rather basic (bright lights, plain walls) but don't let this fool you. The food was first class, the fish very fresh, all beautifully presented and with cheerfully good service. They seem to have something of a reputation for puddings, which... More

On our last night we decided on nice meal instead of pub grub. After visiting a few and checking menus, we decided on The Moorings, it was busy but it was a Friday night. A very nice lady asked if we had a booking, we didn't, but they fitted us in. The service was very good and cheerful, the food... More

We enjoyed an excellent meal at the Moorings last Saturday evening having seen the other reviews on Trip Advisor, I have to endorse all the good comments by others as the standard of food was excellent, all very well presented by friendly staff, not cheap but well worth the money
