Regarding review below. Couldn't believe what I was reading. Anth's a lovely lad, who has built the quiz up from nothing. Some people have no sense of humour and took offense at how the bingo numbers were called. Bingo numbers have been called in this way since time began. Political correctness gone mad!! Don't take any notice Anth you do... More

Good hand pulled beer with a meal which wasn't too bad except for the pudding. I had a crumble with custard to take out but when we got home found that it was a very small portion. Spoilt the whole meal really. We won't be visiting again.

Recently visited this pub for tea and was very pleased with the service, choice, value for money and cleanliness. The scampi was great value for money. My only little niggle would be the chips needed a longer fry time to crisp them up but that is mine and my husband preference.

We visited the Crows Nest on Sunday 17th August for Sunday lunch. When we arrived we were greeted in a friendly manner and shown to our table. The carvery was excellent, with a choice of 3 meats and a wide selection of vegetables and real Yorkshire puddings! We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and will definitely be back soon.
