We went here for our lunch on a Sunday, it was very busy and we were warned it could be a 20 minute wait. However no sooner had we sat down with our drinks when we were called, which was great. Neither of us fancied the carvery, not much choice of veg and the Yorkshire puddings looked like shop bought... More

Good food at very reasonable prices. Popular with the locals, so we had to wait a little while for our food, but nice waitstaff who did their best.

The décor is modern and clean. Menu could do with more variation but it is reasonably priced. There is a wide selection of drinks and the service is ok.

cannot believe how this place lets people get away with their kids playing football & running amok so near to customers who are trying to eat&drink ... & so near to busy roads . there should be signs saying.. no football.or games allowed..

Hi thanks for your comments, the large grass area outside of the pub belongs to the council therefore we have no right to tell people what they can and cannot do on that land, we do however refuse to serve food to anyone sitting on that grassed area, I hope this claritys your comments More

I met up with a friend for a catch up and decided to stay for some food. I’ve been a few times for drinks, but haven’t been for a meal in years. I opted for the chicken tikka wrap with curly fries. It was a small wrap, admittedly, but tasty nether the less. It cost £15 for two meals which... More

Hi, many thanks for your review, just for future reference the wraps we use are a standard size so we have no control over them, the heating system we have does not have air conditioning so can only assume the temp had been turned down, we have put practices into place so this doesn't happen again, if you feel in... If you want a quick reasonable meal in Seaham this is the place to go. Food is always good, quick and the staff are always very helpful. The pub has been recently furbished and is lovely inside.

Went here yesterday with 6 adults and 2 children under 7. We didn't manage to book a table so they very kindly made a table of 8 up for us. We ordered the kids food first as one of the adults was late and it arrived very quickly. They had burger and chips which was a perfect sized portion and... More
