Nice food and atmosphere

Having had a drive out, we stopped at this pub. Not being from the area, we didn't know what it would be like but from the outside, it looked modern and welcoming. I fancied a Cajun wrap but the only one on the menu was a vegetarian version. When ordering (trying not to be awkward) I asked if it... read more

We stopped by for lunch on Easter Sunday after a stroll along the front. We were very well-greated from the staff and was told there would be a slight wait but there was plenty of seating in the bar area and outside. We actually only ended up waiting about 5 minutes. The menu is extensive and everything looks very fresh.... More

Went for a late lunch with my nana and sister on the 8th of this month and was very underwhelmed. The pub looks lovely from the outside, modern with pleasant surroundings. Once inside it was quite dull but still nice. We looked around for a table, the only one suitable was a booth with a TV at the far end... More

Took the dog for a lovely walk along the heritage trail on a sunny day. Called in at the crows nest for a drink, it was a Friday afternoon so very quiet, although we have been there on a Sunday when the place was full, due to the popularity of Sunday carvey. We haven't eaten there as its only standard pub-chain... More

Lovely relaxed atmosphere with your usual pub grub menu to choose from. If you want good priced , nice tasting pub grub then this is the pub for you. I have ate here a handful of times over the years and I'm pleased to say I must have always hit lucky as I've never had a bad experience yet. I... More

Didn't eat but i did have a couple of real ales. This is a nice modern bar with a restaurant frequented by locals and families for meals. Great choice of 6 real ales inc a Crows Nest branded real ale. The lager choice selected of such icy cold classics as Birra Morettl and San Miguel etc. Me and my missus... More

Just came back from here after visiting the seaham front, popped in as our last visit was very enjoyable and to warm ourselves up I enjoyed my rump steak which was cooked to perfection, I would have really loved a blue cheese sauce but the server said the menu is subject to the company and cannot get this, never mind,... Went here today for a catch up with my brother and his partner. Have been here before and thought we would give it one more chance. Upon arrival it's nice and tidy and wasn't to busy. We sat down and looked at the menu and took a while Cuz there is a large choice. My wife had a 8oz Sirloin... More
